Not sure which one you are talking about, but I did almost 14 years in the Army and had the chance to use and qualify with the Ma Deuce, qualified expert with it, but was not in a Heavy Weapons unit, the best we had was the M60.

The M1919A4 was still in service with the Philippine Army in the 70's and I had several chances to "play" with it. But the M1917A1 was being phased out of service in or around the late 60's, but I remember hearing stories about how some soldiers had to urinate on one to keep it going when something went wrong with the cooling system. I did get to mess around with one when I was doing some down time at Fort Benning's Infantry Museum, but never had the chance to fire one in real life.

PAW = Post-Apocalyptic World

It was a water cooled machine gun, so no fluid to keep the barrel cool.....it won't work for long.........heck I know I'd piss on it (maybe more) to keep that puppy humming when needed. So it's either that or possibly die......now on a training range that would be a different story....then again I'd probably have done it there as well.......

LOL I love your thinking lag. I'd want you in my group in the event of a PAW.

Dirty nasty field techniques is nothing new to me. During Sniper School, god knows what I had on my ghillie suit. Plus right before our last 3 day sniper culmination event, my sniper buddy had to extract a tick between my butt cheeks with a gerber tool that was feeding on my ass for a week. that sucker was huge. oh and yes, we tried fire at first too. didn't work. :(

ass lodged ticks and machine guns that smell like piss.

Z - been there done that, got the leeches......well had the leeches, and the worms (long story).......ticks are nasty as well..(only in the scalp and pits one time)...never did care for Benning...... :D You really have not hit rock bottom, until you have either 1) had to remove leeches from someone's assorted private parts -okay Fitz, how the hell did a leech bite you on the tip of your gun tube? That swelling better be from the freaking leech........Freaking million dollar wound there..........2) That better be a freaking leech sticking out of your asshole........ 3) I'm sorry to say that your Frank and Beans now has a full on, full length mechnized beard........and this is going to hurt.

Synder - why the heck are you limping? Corporal is cause his a limp dick......no seriously Synder you been dragging ass over half the freaking jungle, wtf is wrong?

Corporal - my ass hurts......

Me: What the fuck have you been doing?

Synder: Nothing Corporal, its juts that I have a huge lump on my ass and it hurts like hell.

Me: Hang tight......hey Staff Sergeant, we need to take a minute, can you get the medic up here......Synder's ass hurts.

Staff Sergeant: You?

Me: Nope, not me....

Medic: Okay Pvt....drop trou and let me take a look at your ass. Holy fucking SHIT!!

Everyone else immediately looses situational awareness and looks....then adds in individual preference on cusswords.

Me: Sweet Mother of God...what the hell is that?

Medic: Looks like some kind of inflames boil......darn its a big one....

Me: What they all aren't that size.

Medic: Nope, never seen a boil the size of a fucking softball before.

Staff Sergeant: Pvt exactly how long has your ass been hurting?

Synder: Oh about two weeks, just about the time we roped in......

Fitz: I've got to get a picture of this! No one is going to believe this one.....followed by the sounds of a Kodak 110 camera going click....snick...snick...snick....click.

Medic then cuts that freaking thing open, and out pops a huge ball of some hard white substance......left a hole the size of a freaking softball in his right ass check. We had to get a dust off in to pick him up. Funny thing, the medic did not use anything but some kind of topical.....no morphine for you....

Well I decided to post the rest of my book on here. For those of you who seemed to like it so far, this is for you.

Not about money anyway. Just posting 5 chapters and telling people to purchase the rest is kind of lame anyway. I like the people here on this forum and all the stories the users provide.

Well, hope everyone enjoys the last two chapters of NiGHTMARE-Z.

I will be posting the rest in increments in the coming days.

CHAPTER 6 ONE PERCENT

Postby NiGHTMARE-Z » Fri Mar 16, 2012 10:15 pm

CHAPTER 6
One Percent

The long hallways are cold and void of light. The smell of filthy mop water lingers in the air as it forces Andrew's nostrils to cling together. There are people everywhere at all corners he sets his eyes upon. Women, men, children and families whom setup make shift bunk beds with george foreman grills set aside in their corner in order to form a type of mock kitchen. Laundry can be seen strung up across individual's living quarters along with buckets of dirty water they use to bathe and wash themselves in. The fearful and hopeless faces of people whom he passes glare at him with contempt. None of these survivors look happy or grateful to be there. Many of them look sick as well.

Andrew notices these few things within minutes of entering the prison. Andrew walks along the dark and cold corriders along side Riggs and the rest of the survivors in their group. Many of them look wary and on edge. Young Andrew clings to Linda's arm tightly as they walk and follow the guards with the apparent group leader back to his office to discuss the issue regarding their downed vehicle. Andrew stays silent while Riggs and the group leader make small talk in a friendly demeanor as they walk along side each other.

"So, nice little establishment you have here. I am very impressed. I mentioned earlier to my people that I wish I thought of this," compliments Riggs as he wittingly attempts to establish repour with the militaristic group leader whom appears to weld an M1A SOCOM 16.

Andrew takes a closer look at the man's weapon and notices a tactical three point sling and an attached rail system to the barrell with a foregrip and tactical surefire light mounted on the side. In addition the man appears to have an additional modified rail system above his bolt on top of his receiver which has an ACOG 4X power sight attached. If this man doesn't know what he is doing, then he sure does put on a good show Andrew concluded as they reach the man's door to his office.

The man asks politely if everyone could wait outside while he talks to Riggs. Andrew goes to turn his head around back to the way they just came in on when Riggs taps him on the shoulder and summons him forward. Riggs requests Andrew's presence in the meeting. Dwayne and Lance upsettingly roll their eyes at the fact of being left out of these types of roles.

Once Andrew and Riggs enter the room, they immediately take their seats. The prison leader walks behind his desk and follows suite immediately propping his green and black jungle boots on top of the desk in a relaxed fashion. Two of the other guards, lean up against the wall behind their leader while staring at the pair with their rifles still slung. Andrew notices an enormous American flag attached to the wall behind the leader in the upside down position, indictating distress.

The intimidating man decides to light up a cigerette.

"What's your business here?" the mysterious man asks in a calm tone of voice eventually breaking the ice.

"First off, my name is Riggs and this soldier right here is Andrew. It is a pleasure to make your acquantince. What is your name might I add?" Riggs politely asks in a friendly tone of voice.

The man does not attempt to hesitate.

"My name is Aaron. I'm in charge of this place. Now state your business," Aaron quickly cuts to the chase.

Andrew appears nervous at this point. Riggs plays along.

"Well we came a very long way. Atlanta International that is. That whole place is a mad house. Lot's of death there. We narrowly escaped. We were on our way to the safe zone at Fort Hood Texas when we came across the signs your people propped up on the interstate leading to your location and welcoming survivors. We were wondering if we could trade you some stuff for a hot shower and bed for a couple of nights. However, now it looks like we'll be needing a ride as well. Or four tires of a specific size you've got to spare?" curiously asks Riggs.

Aaron, with an apparent puzzled look on his face now flicks his finger summoning one of his bodyguards close to his mouth as he whisphers something to him. The man responds back in whisphers as well which remain unknown to both Andrew and Trevor. Once the men are finished quietly conversing amongst eachother, the bodyguard quickly goes back to his position leaning up against the wall.

"Signs you say? Leading you to us?" an ever growing puzzled look appears on Aaron's face.

Riggs nods his head in agreement.

Silence fills the room for a moment until Aaron decides to emit a grin.

"Well Mr. Riggs, you've found us," Aaron adds.

Riggs and Andrew return with a sort of akward yet sarcastic nod and smile towards Aaron.

"Well here is the deal. We only posess a few vehicles, which we are not at liberty to give up. Unfortunately, we do not posess an abundance of spare tires which we can give away at this time neither in case we have to get some where in a hurry. I do suggest this though, Myself and the people of this camp are survivors. This prison we have just recently taken over doesn't have the adequate bare essentials we need to survive on. In the coming days we will have to start running raiding parties into nearby towns for food, water, fuel, mechanical parts and medical supplies. We need as many well rounded fighters as we can get to become successful in this crucial task. If you and your group would be willing to offer your services for the benefit of this camp we would reward you with free room and board. Also a chance to gather up the parts and supplies you would need for your trip as well," Aaron proposes bluntly.

Riggs continues nodding his head while contemplating the decision. He consults with Andrew for a moment. Once Andrew and Riggs are done conversing amongst themselves, Riggs turns back to Aaron with a question.

"How long have you people been here for? Whats the situation in this area?" Riggs curiously asks. Aaron wastes no time explaining.

"We haven't been here too long. When fathers started attacking their daughters and when mothers started devouring their sons, the people of our neighborhood banded together. Luckily many of them happened to work at this prison here. Quickly coming to the realization that no where was safe, we realized our stength was eachother. To include concrete walls and twenty foot high fencelines. Now, Alabama is in a state of Anarchy. No where here is safe. The police got their asses handed to them a week and a half ago. Might I add, shit started going bad just a little over two weeks ago in this state. Seems like most of the country is just waking up to this as we heard on the TV and the radio," explains Aaron.

Andrew and Riggs both shake their heads in acknowledgement of the man's plight. Aaron goes on to add with a cold stare, "All the towns I have been through around this area is ruled by the dead now. National Guard fled to Texas. We are on our own here."

Riggs acts like he already knew this and appeared unphased. Andrew on the other hand, acted as if this whole recent apocalpyse ordeal was something new and wouldn't effect areas like these.

Moments later, they both come to the conclusion to inform the rest of their group and see where they stand first to medigate future problems along the way. Riggs asks Aaron for a moment while he steps outside with Andrew.

Aaron silently stares on.

As the pair walk outside the door, they notice Young Andrew kicking an inflatable ball down the hallway with a young girl just a little bit older than him. It appears he just made a friend. Once the girl notices the men walk out of the office and talk to members of their group, she immediately avoids the ball Young Andrew kicked back to her allowing it to fly down the hallway as she runs up to the office Andrew just walked out of. She begins calling out for her father as she dissappears into the room and the door shuts behind her.

Riggs presents the proposition to the rest of the group and explains all of the angles. After some deliberation, everyone agrees it is the right thing to do for the time being while they wait to get a new vehicle or acquire the tires they need. Riggs make it clear the men will join the rest of the prison group newly formed raiding party as the women will help out with common tasks within the prison such as cooking and cleaning. Everyone in the group comes to the agreement that it is the reasonable thing to do and not that much of a big deal considering the predicament they are currently in. The main point which sold the crowd, was Rigg's emphasizing security and comfort.

Warm bed, a shower and a secure perimeter is rare now a days.

On the other hand, the only individual whom seemed to have a major issue with it was Randall, who never used a weapon before and did not like the idea of going any where with this group looking for trouble. Riggs pretty much told him "to suck it up". A comment which left Randall speechless and lost for words. Once the group concludes the mock meeting, Andrew and Riggs walks back into Aaron's office.

Upon entering, the little girl is seen handing Aaron something in his hand. He quickly places it one of the drawers inside his desk out of sight of Andrew and Riggs.

"Okay girl. Time to head out and let daddy get back to his business. Go play with your new friend," Aaron tells his daughter.

She smiles and then runs off past Andrew.

Riggs and Andrew assume their seats shortly after.

"Cute daughter you got there. How old is she?" asks Riggs.

"She is not my daughter. She belonged to my fiance," responds Aaron in an apparent aggressive tone of voice.

"She is 14," Aaron adds.

Andrew now chimes in without thinking.

"What happened to her mother?" Andrew asks Aaron without realizing how intrusive he was being.

Riggs turns back to Andrew and stares at him as if he was out of line at that point.

However, Aaron doesn't seem to be too irritated by it. He goes on to explain.

"My fiance was eaten alive in front of her daughter while I was at work one day. Amy called me once she locked herself in her room while it was going on and I rushed home from work. Long story," Aaron stoically concludes.

Riggs and Andrew both give their condolences. Quickly attempting to change the subject, Riggs tells the prison leader that they accept their offer. They would only be willing to stay a few weeks max. Enough time to acquire what they need. Aaron delightfully accepts. Shortly after, he gives Riggs instructions on where the men need to meet at what time and where the women must go for work call the following day.

Moments later, Aaron picks up a radio transmitter ordering somebody to meet him in his office in a few minutes. Once he places it down on the desk, he tells them to remain patient for one of his staff will be coming by shortly to show them around the prison and direct them to their quarters.

This pleases Riggs and Andrew as they thank the kind man. He tells them "not to mention it".

However, Andrew still feels a bad vibe in the area. Especially regarding the demeanor of the guards.

Once the pair walk back into the hallway where the rest of the group waits, a frail and sick looking man with a black tactical vest and a black beanie cap worn over his head comes walking up to them with a radio in his hand and a pistol attached to a leg houlster. He introduces himself and proceeds to give Andrew and the group the grand tour of the prison.

First stop he directs them to the shower room, where dried up blood stains scatter the damp floor. Next he directs them to a filthy laundry room where most of the washer and dryers are inoperable. Some members of the group at this point are already disgusted with the living conditions including Randall, whom out of the group of males, seems to be the only one who has a problem with it. Linda on the other hand, doesn't seem to mind and demonstrates how grateful she is to the man showing them around.

Further on in the tour, the group was introduced to the weight room, the cafeteria, basketball court where none of the hoops had any netting, administrative office where some of the survivors from Aaron's group works and keeps count of supplies, personnell and food. From there, the man takes them to the infirmary where he states medical supplies are scarce.

Riggs notices a few sick individuals laying in bed being nursed by an elderly man who doesn't appear to be medically qualified. In addition, there are three individuals with gunshot wounds screaming for assistance as they complain about their bandages being too itchy. Upon leaving the most depressing part of the prison, the man introduces them to the prison's chapel, which isn't large at all and has fold up chairs as seating and a single podium for the preacher with a wooden cross in the backdrop.

Many survivors are seen there praying and trying to find comfort as a pale, frail looking individual preaches a sermon in desert camoflauge uniform. Andrew assumes he is the priest. Last but not least, their living quarters. Which are medium security prison cells which holds duel bunk beds in each cell. Every cell can accomodate four individuals. This area is called Cell block A. Along the tour, Dwayne and Lance notices cell block B , C and D excluded from the grand tour. Once they ask their tour guide about it, he quickly snaps back in an aggressive posture.

"Nobody is allowed in those areas by any means necessary. Got it?" the man orders.

"Those are the maximum security blocks and are not secured as well as these areas. Do not go strolling along in there. Those are the rules," the man goes on to add.

Dwayne and Lance say nothing as their eyebrows rise in curiousity. The rest shrug it off. As the man directs the group to their individual bunks, he makes accomodations based off of preference. Linda, Young Andrew, Cynthia and Audrey all share the same cell toghther. Next it goes Andrew, Riggs, Randall and Dwayne. Lance and Tabatha both share a cell together with no one in it as it is smaller but only prepared for two people. This pleased them greatly, giving them the privacy they needed. Tammy ends up sharing a cell with three other female strangers. She did not seem to mind at this point for all she wanted to do was get some much needed rest.

The man in the black tactical vest gives them some final instructions and information about the prison. Mainly, nobody is allowed to go outside the wire in less than 8 man groups and must be cleared and signed out at the main administrative office. Also, the man informs the group about roving guard and watch tower sentries on twelve hour rotations. Nobody is to be strolling inside the perimeter outside at night because one of the guards may mistake that person for one of those "things" and be shot on sight. Once the man concludes his briefing, he lets the group go about their business and work on getting settled in.

All of the survivors in Andrew's group realize they have nothing to settle in with, not even a change of clothes. Andrew reminds Riggs of this. Eventually, they come to the agreement that a master list will need to be written up for all of the members in their group pertaining to personal affects such as basic hygeine items and extra pairs of clothing. Andrew walks around the cell block to every member of the group and gets their lists jotted down on pen and paper. One of the most needy ones, Andrew realized, was Tammy. She requested cosmetic supplies and feminum hygeine products you would find in Lord and Taylor or Filenes. Eventually as a result, Andrew had to become blunt with her.

"Sorry to say this miss, but you don't need high heels in this world. Nor do you need make up and lipstick. You definately don't need facial cream. When we go out there to gather up supplies we will be risking our lives. Think bare essentials," Andrew explains in blunt honesty without blinking.

Tammy falls silent and places her head down as if she was just told that her flight to the Bahamas has just been cancelled.

"Look, my time in the service gave me a pretty good idea on what a person may need in uncomfortable situations like these. I'll help you out, Tammy," Andrew states with a smile.

He goes on to list tooth brushes, bars of soap, pairs of socks, T-shirts, underwear, tooth paste, towels and additional bare essential items.

"Here, i'll even jot you down for some running shoes. Can never undermine a good pair of running shoes, especially in this day in age," Andrew goes on to explain in a comforting voice in order to lift her spirits.

Shortly after, he takes down her shoe size and additional measurements for pants and shirts. Once he is done, he goes on to the other survivors and realizes what ridicilious requests they conjured up. Especially the women.

Once he makes his way to Young Andrew, he is amused to find that the boy requests nothing but Xbox 360 games and toys without even mentioning an Xbox 360 system. Andrew plays along then becomes honest with him. However, he does promise that he will bring him back some toys to play with. Once Andrew asks what type of toys, Young Andrew counters with "nothing but Army men and G.I. Joe," Young Andrew excitingly claims with eagerness in his eyes.

Andrew smiles and tells him he should of known as he writes his toys down in specific order.

"Now little soldier, I can't promise you that I can get all of these, however I will definately try," Andrew promises. Young Andrew has a widened smile which can not be brought down at this point.

Once Andrew arrives to Linda, she lists off the common items. Once she reaches special requests, she asks for reading materials such as novels and most importantly, the bible.

"I am not sure of anything these days. However, I do have a hunch that the Bible is in high demand right now," Linda wisely states to Andrew.

He agrees and writes it down on the list with a star beside it indicating it as a priority for her.

Andrew decides the men do not need a list for they know what they will need when the time comes as they will be out there helping the group look for items. Some of the more ridicilious requests Andrew overheard the males conversing about, was Randall's intention to find a nice and formidible suit for him to wear. Indicating where his priorities lie as Andrew shakes his head and jokes about it with Riggs. Dwayne makes it clear that he intends on finding fine jewelry and gold chains. Lance wants to find more Florida Gators attire.

Once Andrew compiles all the lists together for the group, he evenly disperses them out to the males. Andrew makes sure he keeps Tammy and Young Andrew's list for himself so he can personally be the one to grab those items as he promised. Once this task is complete and the group starts bedding down for the night once darkness falls, Andrew lies in his bunk, overhearing Riggs and Dwayne snoring.

He thinks about his brother Trevor whom he so darely misses. Andrew comes to the joking conclusion that if Trevor was here, he would place the show "Desperate Housewives" on the top of his useless items list. He wonders if Trevor ever got to finish his show that he was so unusually obsessed with. Andrew then begins to feel a sense of sadness come over him as his eyesight begins to fade and slips into comatose. He wonders if his brother ever made it out of Iraq or met a gruesome fate like so many others have.

The thought of this just reinforces his will and urge to find his brother's family so he can protect him like he promised once before. In this day in age, all a man has now is his word. Money, power, looks is completely out of the equation Andrew decides as he takes his final thought before submitting to his body's demand for rest.

Young Andrew, still unable to sleep at this point, sneaks out of his bottom bunk. He quietly passes Linda, whom is dead asleep across the way from him and makes his way into the hallway. Still curious and excited about the new place he is now living in, he figures he has much to explore. In addition, a few hours of playing with his new friend Amy prior to being tucked into bed, still left him very energetic.

The boredom of night time rest consumes him as he makes his way down the dark hallways of Cell Block A in the middle of the night. Young Andrew figures he will poke around and see if he can find anything cool to play with. After around ten minutes go by of playing with some of the weights in the weight room and trying to shoot some hoops in the inside basketball court, he makes his way over to the administration office.

He tries the door on it but realizes it is locked. Once he figures this out, he makes his way down an additional lonely hallway leading over to Aaron's office. Right before he turns the corner leading to the hallway where Aaron's office resides, he hears whisphers and the sound of people talking just as he is about to turn the corner. He quickly stops himself and sneaks up to the edge of the corner as he pokes his little head out to see what was going on. Curiousity now fills the boy, as he witnesses out in front of Aaron's office, the man whom he can only describe as his new best friend Amy's dad, leaning up against his doorway talking to a group of twenty to thirty people. His voice grows louder as if he is giving them a speech and instructing them on something. Andrew hears his name multiple times, along with other members of the group as Aaron points his finger towards some of the guards in an aggresive fashion.

Andrew is now confused. He wonders why the man has mentioned his name multiple times, for he has nothing to do with this man nor has ever spoken with him. Andrew decides to turn back the way he came from as he skips along singing a song to himself his mother used to sing to him before she would tuck him into bed at night.

Morning comes. Riggs is the first to wake up and prepare for what the day holds. He wakes Andrew and the other males of the group up and reminds them where they need to be in the next thirty minutes. Their tour guide told them all the males would meet over by Aaron's office by 0730 hours(7:30 AM).

None of them feel too enthiusiastic about waking up at this point to start the day. Randall and Dwayne retreat back to their covers as Andrew sits on the edge of his bed with blood shot eyes keeping his head down attempting to work up the energy to stand up.

Riggs walks down to Lance and Tabatha's cell and taps Lance on the shoulder until he awakes. Angry at being bothered, he pops off to Riggs.

"Don't touch me. Get the hell away," yells a half asleep Lance as he rolls back over to Tabatha in the bed.

An angered Riggs now kicks the frame of the bunk until Lance shoots up glaring at him.

"You know where you have to be in the next thirty minutes. Wake your little ass up!" orders Riggs.

Lance says nothing in response.

Riggs then walks back to his cell to check on the others. He does not wake the females because they have a later first call than the men. Yesterday Linda was designated leader of that group and in charge of making sure they are where they need to be.

Once Riggs has all the men rounded up, they proceed over to the armorery. It appears that only the males within the prison are awake this early in the morning Andrew noticed as he passes sleeping families and single women. Once the group arrives to the doors of the armorery, they encounter a long line stretching down the hallway which originates at the doorway of the arms room. Riggs and everyone else falls in line with the other residents of the prison, many of whom who give them odd stares as if they were studying the newcomers. Andrew noticed the males in line making small talk before himself and the rest of his group walked up. Now, many of them fall silent as they gaze on in Andrew's direction.

"So why are we in line to draw weapons? I thought that we had our own?" Andrew curiously asks Riggs as they standby in the line.

"Oh yeah something I forgot to mention, Aaron wanted us to use his weapons and ammo after I gave him our personal round and fire arm count. He told us to save it for the trip ahead once it comes time to leave here. Such a nice guy isn't he?" Riggs responds.

"Can't argue with that," Andrew adds.

Moments later, Andrew turns around and informs the rest of the group of what is going on. All of them appeared delighted about the news.

The line seems to go quickly as Andrew's turn approaches, for he is first in line out of his group.. Andrew notices men walking out with AK-47 assault rifles, wooden M14's, some M16 and AR-15 models. Some of the men also carried tactical shotguns with surefire lights attached to them. Majority of the shotguns possessed collaspable stocks and pistol grip pumps. He even saw one man walk out with an RPK and bipod legs attached. Riggs eyes grow wide.

"These guys are well stocked. Hope they give me a formidable weapon," Riggs jokes to Andrew.

Andrew never noticed Riggs to be this antsy and excited. He appeared to be a kid waking up on Christmas Day to presents waiting underneath the tree. Randall, Dwayne and Lance appear to be in way over their heads as they glance over at the armed men walking by them with a fearful and a culture shocked look in their eyes.

Riggs notice this and as a result makes him smile.

Dwayne turns over to Randall once he notices Riggs smiling.

"Bro, what the hell are these guys going to have us do. I don't like the looks of this," Dwayne concernly states to a shaken Randall.

"Yeah I agree. This isn't my area of expertise. Got a bad feeling about this," Randall concludes to Dwayne.

Lance stands there in silence attempting to act like the situation doesn't even phase him.

Sometimes "Young Andrew" is portrayed as a young child then you have him being aware of peoples actions and the conditions of the prison that children don't usually take notice of. More like a older teen or young man in his 20's.

"Andrew takes a closer look at the man's weapon and notices a tactical three point sling and an attached rail system to the barrell with a foregrip and tactical surefire light mounted on the side. In addition the man appears to have an additional modified rail system above his bolt on top of his receiver which has an ACOG 4X power sight attached. If this man doesn't know what he is doing, then he sure does put on a good show Andrew concluded as they reach the man's door to his office."

And the step daughter of Aaron is portrayed as a very young child with the playing kick ball with Andrew in the hall, and the way she's described running into Aaron's office shouting "Daddy" then Aaron says she's 14.

Maybe I missed something?

CHAPTER 6 ONE PERCENT CONT....

Postby NiGHTMARE-Z » Sat Mar 17, 2012 7:18 pm

I intended to describe what Aaron was wearing at the time, not what it meant to Young Andrew. Kind of describing what he sees ya know? I should of elaborated more on that. Sorry

As far as the girl goes, she is 14. However, i've seen grown women call their father's "daddy". My thought process, she is a bored young girl in a prison with hardly anyone to play with. Also, her mother died so her father is all she has. You'll find out later on he doesn't love her as much as he says he does. He is also her step-father, not blood. So her need for some type of parental unit is there.

Kicking a ball is pushing it for her age, however, I don't think it would be too far fetched. Young Andrew is the closest one to her age group in the area.

Thanks for the feedback. Here's some more of chapter 6

CHAPTER 6 CONT.....

Andrew is first of the group to walk in the doorway, where he notices a short man who is keeping count of the weapons with a clipboard and pencil. Aaron is standing beside him as he notices Andrew.

"Ah, new guys are here. Tommy, hook these guys up with some decent fire power. Hey soldier, looks like you could handle something heavy. Try out one of these AK-47's. Also, grab some SAIGA 12 gauges as well," Aaron hollers to Andrew who is only two feet in front of him.

"Man these guys are well stocked. Makes my collection look mediocre," adds Riggs as he talks to himself while looking around.

Andrew picks up an AK-47 then proceeds to grab a few 7.62x39mm banana clips located below the rifle rack in a drawer. Moments later he attempts to walk out the doorway until Aaron stops him.

"Wait a moment. You need a rig as well. Go in the back room over there and pick one out. We got some ALICE configurations, as well as MOLLE vests. Take what you like," Aaron goes on to add. Andrew wastes no time and proceeds to the back room.

Riggs instantly goes for the SAIGA assault shotgun. After he takes a look at it, he grabs his shells and wastes no time following Andrew into the back. Once the last three members of the group enter, they all admit to Aaron about their inexperience with fire arms. As a response, Aaron gives them a degrading look.

"We'll give you both simple pump action shotguns," Aaron says as he walks up to the shelf and picks one long barrell birdshot weapon with a wooden stock and an over and under shotgun which only fires two rounds before a reload off the rack. He hands them to Lance and Dwayne then insists on giving them a quick class on how to use it. Once he is finished, he hands them their rounds and sends them to the back room to grab equipment. Once they are gone, Randall comes walking up with a scared look on his face.

Aaron stares back in contempt.

"Here, i'm not willing to take a chance with you," Aaron admits while he goes through the bottom of the pistol cage. Once he finds what he is looking for, he hands Randall a Smith & Wesson .38 special revolver and a box of 40 target practice rounds.

"I don't trust men in suits. You only get this," he tells Randall while looking into his eyes.

Randall avoids eye contact and walks out into the hallway. Once the rest of the men are finished rummeging through the bins of green utility belts and pouches, they find what matches their preferences and walk outside into the hallway to join back up with a quiet Randall.

All of the men in the group, with the exception of Randall, who places his .38 revolver in the jacket pocket of his suit, now have on tactical OD green and black utility pouches slung across their chests. They shuffle through their pouches in an attempt to place their magazines in them as they walk down the hallway to link back up with the crowd of the prison group males whom are congregated by the entrance to the courtyard of the prison. Riggs and Andrew give Randall an akward stare, as he is apparently the only one who doesn't have a vest on.

"Looks like you got short handed, huh Randall?" Andrew jokes.

Randall shrugs stoically as if none of it mattered to him. Once Riggs and the rest fused with the group of strangers, he begins asking a few of them questions. Mainly to include, "Where are we going? What are we doing and how are we getting there?".

None of them really gave them a solid answer, however, made one thing clear.

"When we get there it is going to be dangerous. Open your ears and follow orders. No room for question," a few of the men conclude.

Riggs humbly agreed in the physical form. However, mentally, not so much. Riggs feels he doesn't need to be ordered around. He knows that he is capable of controlling most situations. On the other hand, in a world where the dead walks, Riggs decides it might be in his best interest to stay in the passenger seat on this one.

Moments later after getting a feel for the task, he huddles up the other members of his group and gives them a run down of what he has just been told. All of them agree to listen to the others out there in order to avoid needless confrontation.

Many of the strangers they are hanging out with while waiting for their briefing and ultimately, the ride out, are standing around joking with eachother. Just about all of them are smoking cigerettes and drinking their morning coffee out of their thermostats. Andrew gets the impression of a battle hardened veteran platoon amongst these men. Similiar to soldiers he met in the Army just in how they conduct themselves and joke about various offensive subjects.

Around twenty minutes later, the noise of laughter and talking falls silent as Aaron walks out into the court yard with his assistant Tommy and a few members from his bodyguard. Tommy walks behind Aaron with a giant dry erase board with what appears to be imagery of a town and surrounding outskirts attached to the board. Tommy quickly places it down for all to see. Once Aaron stops, he tells all the men of the group to get comfortable. A few rows in the front take seats on the pavement as men in the back row continue to stand.

Riggs and Andrew are quite impressed at this point. If there were any doubt about their organization prior to this briefing, there isn't any now. Everything this group does is well thought out and planned. This comforts both of them in a way.

Aaron begins briefing the men. Which lasts only for thirty five minutes. Once he is finished, he asks if anyone has any questions. Dwayne quickly raises his hand. Aaron immediately points in his direction signaling him to say his peace.

"How many of those things out there should we expect. Do you know?" Dwayne warily asks.

Aaron changes his facial expression and begins pacing around while holding his waistline as if he was in deep thought.

"You know, that is unknown at this time. We have only had a few scouting parties drive by this area when they were identifying prospects. At the time, there was low level activity. However, there could be more. Members of the "Death's Head" were also recently spotted in that area causing a ruckus so we suspect there will be more activity. After all, we all know they are attracted to sound," Aaron says.

"Death's Head?" a shocked Dwayne quickly snaps back.

Andrew and Riggs, now with confused looks on their faces, quickly chime in.

"Who are they?" Andrew exclaims out loud.

"There is obviously something here that we have not been told," Riggs adds.

Aaron, realizing what he said, now has his eyes wide open and places his head down while shaking it back and forth.

"I didn't want to startle you boys," Aarons responds.

Riggs becomes more persistant.

"I think we have the right to know what we may be getting involved in here," Riggs politely states.

"You need to tell us everything please," Andrew adds.

The other members of Aaron's group now feel uncomfortable and fall short of words as they look back to their leader to break it to them.

"Okay listen. The Death's Head is a biker gang. A very hostile biker gang. Especially towards us. They discovered us not too long ago and ever since been harassing us. Those signs you've seen on the road were not put up by us. We are trying to remain quiet and unseen out here. It's essential to our survival. These vicious biker's harrassment and hostility has been steadily picking up. We believe they put up those signs leading you to us to make us targets for more outlaw groups traveling on the road and people with intention to bring harm. That is why we were so cautious with you at first," Aaron explains.

Dwayne throws his arms up in the air in disgust as he walks back a few paces. Lance squeezes his way through the crowd to address Aaron.

"So you're pretty much getting us involved in a gang war?" Lance sarcastically asks.

Randall follows suite.

"Not only do we have to worry about people trying to eat us, but we're also going to have people shooting at us as well! What the hell is this Riggs?" a distraught Randall cries out as he directs his attention towards Riggs.

Now seeing the situation growing out of control, Riggs steps in and tells his group to shut their mouthes.

"Aaron, can you give us some more details about these guys?" Riggs calmy asks while trying to keep order.

Aaron agrees.

"These bikers are well armed. It's unknown how many there are, however, they operate just like us. They are raiders. We have no clue where they reside or where their hide outs are located. To their advantage, they know where we stay and they want it. They want it bad. We believe their numbers is just as much as ours, if not more. Many of them have their families as well but they never take them out on raiding parties. We got wind of this during an argument one of our guys got into with one of the other bikers when both of us were trying to collect items from a local Home Depot at the same time. That was our first run in with them. Shortly after, a group of five or six approached our front gate and demanded we give up some supplies for their women. We respectuflly declined, which only fueled the fire. Our last incident we had was on a previous raiding party, where we actually took small arms fire from them. Some of our men were wounded, two of theirs were killed by us as a result," Aaron explains in great detail.

Riggs is now growing wary of this along with Andrew as well.

"We know the next time we run into them they will be out for blood. So we have to be prepared for that. This is why we are taking so many out with us today. Look, I know this sounds dangerous, but we need your help. We have provided you sanctuary for the time being as well. Think of this as a mutual partnership. I am sorry that I did not make you aware of this situation when we first met," Aaron diplomatically expresses himself.

Riggs instantly makes the decision for the group without consulting them.

"Well, what choice do we have. We need those damn tires or a new ride. Can't blame you for the situation. We'll help out as long as we can until we can make it out of here. We're on board brother," Riggs concludes.

Aaron smiles and looks to the other members of Rigg's group, identifying their disgust and worry. Aaron thanks Riggs and tells everyone to "saddle up" and be in the trucks ready to go in ten minutes.

Riggs and Andrew walk off to the motorpool discussing the situation amongst eachother, as Dwayne, Lance and Randall seem upset without having any say so in the matter and begin complaining to each other as they make their way to the vehicles.

During Aaron's thirty five minute block of instructions, he designated group leaders broken up by five man squads. Each leader established communications with eachother and were responsible for specific tasks. Aaron obviously shows prior military or police training for the way he briefed his men were in the format of an Operations Order. Something you would experience in the military prior to just about every mission you were about to conduct.

Aaron carefully laid out in detail his intent and what job each squad had. To go further into detail, he established one squad as the inner security element. Another as the outer security. An additional squad as the "shopping" team as he likes to refer, which means they are the ones who gather the supplies once security is set and an additional squad to serve as a Quick Reaction Force or QRF as Andrew knows so well.

The QRF squad was given a simple location to be on standby in away from the main group. In the event that the main element came under attack or needed assistance, they would be radioed in and push out to their location. Aaron decided to place his QRF on the outskirts of the town. Aaron's intent for QRF is for them to go into hiding in the brush and out of sight of anything dead or alive. They would only be used as back up if something went wrong.

Aaron's main concept in a nutshell, as he put out to Riggs and the rest of the men in the courtyard moments ago, is for his QRF to set into place on the outskirts within a half mile away. Once they are to be set, they would radio in to the rest of the group leaders who would be staged out on a main freeway.

Once this happens, the men tasked to perform as outer cordon would take lead of the convey about three to five hundred meters off the rest as they push in and scurry the perimeter of a miniature indoor shopping plaza. They are to identify all exits and report back any potential threats. Once they are set in place and securing the main entrance, the inner security would push up into their location and enter the indoor plaza and secure it for the shopping team.

The shopping team, would remain last in the convey and only enter until the inner security calls it up as "all clear". In addition, the three vehicles which made up the shopping team would consist of two vans and one pickup truck which would be backed into the doorway for quick drop off of supplies.

Riggs and the rest of his group, for the first day until they were to be trusted as capable of performing these tasks, are to assume duties as shoppers. Aaron designated them a leader whom appeared to be well rounded, however, having some what of a temper. This man had a list of what he was to collect up for the rest of his side of the group. Riggs had no issues regarding Aaron's decision and decided to speak for the rest of the group.

"We have no problem with it. Put us where you need us," he yelled out to Aaron before the meeting convened once their task became known during the briefing. The others weren't too happy with the decision as they felt left out. Andrew supported Riggs in this, however was sort of upset that he wasn't involved.

"My name is Tim, nice to meet you boys. Got to lay out some ground rules first," The shopping team leader announces as he walks up to Riggs and the rest of his group as they are walking to the vehicles.

"Sure thing boss man. Lay it out," Riggs anxiously states appearing to be a team player to Tim.

Lance, Dwayne and Randall quickly close up their walking distance between Riggs and Andrew to hear what Tim has to say.

"Okay first off, we got some skull busting tools in the back of every vehicle. We prefer you use them instead of using your guns. Get yourself familiarized once we're mounted up. Second, anything you want to do out there or think you should do, run it by me so I can give you thumbs up. We all stick together unless I say otherwise. Don't defy me or else Aaron will hear about it and the deal is off. Got it?" Tim blatanely states.

Tim is an older feller with a deep country accent. He appears to have seen a lot and experienced a lot during his time. He sports a long grey mustache and a black baseball cap sporting no logos. His demeanor is apparently aggresive, however, to Andrew he seems like the type that once you get to know him better he wouldn't be such a bad person to hang around.

Once Tim was finished, the other members of the group looked to Riggs for a solid response. Riggs thought about what he was just told for a second and calmy shrugged it off.

"You're the boss," Riggs responds.

As a result, a relieved smile appeared on Tim's face as he showed the men to their vehicles and tosses them hand held radios before they entered their respective rides.

Once Riggs entered the front passenger seat with Andrew at the wheel, he began pondering once again what Tim had told him. He thought it was kind of odd that he knew about what him and Aaron had talked about before in his office when they first met. However, bigger issues were at hand at the moment so he forced himself to forget about it.

Tim grabbed up Randall and made him ride shotgun with him in his pickup truck. Lance and Dwayne became a team in the second van all falling in behind Tim. The group now waits patiently for the rest of the members of the raiding party to line up in order as they converse amongst eachother and await for Tim to start moving so they can follow him and be placed in the right order the way Aaron wants them to be.

Randall and Tim had an akward time together while on the road. Not much talking went on as the both of them came from two totally different backgrounds. During the ride and once only a few sentences had been traded between the pair, Randall realizes that he was called a "City Slicker" by Tim almost five times. As a result, this only made Randall retreat further back into his own mental solar system.

Andrew and Riggs talked a lot about the future of the group and how they are going to get out of the prison. Dwayne and Lance opened up to eachother a bit amid a united front against Rigg's leadership style.

Time on the road passes by as Andrew looks out the window and studies his surroundings. The abandoned vehicles along side the roads, empty shops and littered bodies is only a testament to the new era he is now bearing witness too. Trevor and his family begin rushing through his mind. Whether they are safe, alive or dead. He knows that he can not stay here for long. Radio chatter fills the cab as well. Members of the convey constantly pop up over the radios informing Aaron, whom is in lead with his QRF team, of potential threats they notice and occasional jokes as well.

An uneventful hour goes by until the lead vehicle in their convey begins slowing down the speed until ultimately coming to a complete stop. Andrew realizes the time has come. Aaron gives his final movement orders and takes off into position while everyone else in the convey remains stationary.

It only takes five minutes for the QRF team to get in place, once this happens, the sound of poor reception and the order to move in is given. The vehicles, whom are parked just on the outskirts of the town, begin racing off to head into their positions.

Randall begins sweating badly. The look of fear takes over his face as Tim notices the man he is riding with is way in over his head.

"Lighten up City Slicker. What's the worst that can happen, you get some blood on that pretty little suit of yours?" Tim jokes as he begins laughing hysterically while taking off at a high rate of speed following just behind the inner security vehicles.

"Holy shit man. I can't believe we're doing this," Dwayne worrily states as he enters the town.

A scene of chaos and disorder is apparent on every side and corner of the street. At this point, the outer cordone has already completed their sweep a couple hundred meters ahead of the inner security which shortly after, receives their orders to push into the building.

"We're up next," a nervous Lance reminds Dwayne.

Dwayne begins reluctantly shaking his head as he slowly creeps forward in his vehicle and passes a few adult women on foot whom are stumbling towards the driver's side of the vehicle while reaching for Dwayne. Their moans of pain grow louder as they come closer as Dwayne passes them by in the vehicle.

Andrew now comes to a halt mimicking Tim's vehicle. Riggs observes from the comfort of his seat as Aaron's men up ahead hop off their vehicles and storm the entry way of the building. Some of the men on the ground were seen with sledge hammers and pick axes in their hands while having their rifles slung across their backs.

As the shopping team awaits the signal, a parked Andrew notices a pile of dead children on the side of a bus stop just outside his driver's side window. The sight is gruesome. Some are even still holding some of their toys in hand. All of them appearing to have been shot at close range in the head.

The flies under the sunlight pick away at them as if they were open buffet. Some of their kiddie backpacks with snacks and clothes to change in are seen on the ground scattered around them. The sight makes Andrew so sick, he begins throwing up in his mouth. As a result, he quickly lowers the window so he can spit it out onto the pavement. That is when the stinch of the bodies fill the vehicle. Riggs places his hand over his mouth and tells Andrew to raise up his window with a quickness. Riggs doesn't even bother to ask Andrew why he just suddenly got sick. He assumed he was nervous about the task at hand and decided not to go any further with it.

A few more moments go by until the radio call comes in. Once the order is heard loud and clear, Randall's eyes grow even wider as he stares back at the radio in Tim's lap.

"Wilco. Shopping team moving!", an excited Tim responds. A split second later, Tim floors the gas pedal skidding out his tires in the direction of the entrance.

"Time to pop your cherry city boy!" Yells Tim as he weeves around the outer cordone.

The day is long. Since the women reported for work call, it has been a non-stop day. Linda and the rest assisted the women of the prison and males who did not go out on the raiding party on common daily chores throughout the compound. Whether it meant sweeping and mopping the floors, cooking enough food to feed an Army or helping out some of the males with the landscaping within the walls while the tower guards watched them, all of it was sort of a sense of normalcy for the group. It took their minds off the nightmare which continues to unfold outside the walls.

Young Andrew started early in the day as well. He mainly shadowed Amy, Aaron's daughter, throughout the day. The adults sectioned off an area of the prison for them to play hide and go seek, basketball and a number of other games. Every hour or so Linda checked in on Andrew to see how his day was going, only to have Amy tell her that everything is "okay" and that Young Andrew is in "good hands".

Later on in the daily taskings, Linda's worries faded away as she allowed the boy to go on about his business.

Many of the women seem to take a liking to the chores and met new friends as well. Only one who seemed to have issues with the arrangements was Tammy, who is prissy as they get. Constant complaining and reluctancy to put out 100% effort in her chores caused a slight stir between some of her new aquintances. Tammy isn't used to labor like this which is why she takes a comfortable but tiring job as a flight stewardess.

Once Linda finished helping one of the mothers clean the last batch of pots and pans in the kitchen, her and the woman decide to go out back for a smoke break. The woman whom she spent the majority of her day with is an avid chain smoker and proceeded to step out for a smoke at least ten times an hour. Her and Linda got along well and told stories about the way things used to be while they worked on their chores. Once the majority of the work was complete, she decided to take a break as well and get to know one of the residents a little bit better.

As she follows the woman out back they engage in small talk on the way to the bleachers which is adjacened to the court yard. There, Linda finds Young Andrew and Amy playing hop scotch and kicking around a ball with a few others children of the prison. Linda overwatches Young Andrew as she takes her seat with the woman.

The jittery woman instantly takes her seat and begins lighting up her cigerette while giving Linda an odd stare.

"So, all these hours together and I didn't even have the pleasure of knowing your name," Linda politely addresses the woman.

"My name is Linda, pleasure to meet you!" she smiles as she puts her hand up in order to receive a handshake invitingly.

The woman shakes her hand.

"My name is Teresa. I heard ya'll just got in yesterday?" she asks.

"Yes, thats us. We're still taking in the area. Lovely place you have here," Linda responds with a a warm smile trying to be polite.

"Oh hunny, you don't have to lie. This place is a spookhouse, but it's home. Better than being stuck out there I guess," the woman adds while she places her head down after taking a puff of her cigerette.

"Don't mind me asking, but how did everyone just happen to hold up here?" a curious Linda asks.

"It's a long story hunny. That boy over there, is he yours?" Teresa asks as she watches Andrew play with Amy.

"Oh no, no. He is not mine. Well I guess he is now, we kind of stumbled upon him when we trying to escape Atlanta International. Just couldn't leave him there, you know?" Linda explains with concern on her face.

The woman now appearing unsympathetic, responds in kind.

"There was a lot of us who got left. We are the lucky ones. All of us are from a town with a population of 10,000 people. Now look at us," a disgusted Teresa states.

"When Day Zero hit, it was mass chaos and confusion. I was waitressing at our local diner when I realized what was going on. Both of my children were in school at the time. I had a sick customer come in demanding soup and a rare steak with water. He seemed so sick, I asked him what he was doing out and public. Told him he had to go to a doctor. He was rude to me and insisted on purchasing a meal. Once I brought his steak out to him, I noticed he was plopped face first in his own bowl of soup dead," Teresa explains.

"Day Zero?" Linda curiously asks with a confused look on her face.

"You know, the day it came out of the closet," Teresa states appearing dumbfounded at Linda's lack of information.

Linda shakes her head.

"The day the fucking dead came back to life to kill us lady! Jesus Christ!" an angered Teresa yells out loud.

Andrew and Amy stop their game with the other children and stare in Linda's direction with fearful eyes.

Linda is quiet and waits for her to continue her story. After another drag on her cigerette she goes on to continue.

"Once I saw the man laying in his soup, everyone paniced. Families ran out and just left him. I called emergency 9-1-1 only to be ignored by the operators. After that, shots rang out in the streets and vehicles began crashing into eachother at intersections trying to escape the mob. It seemed to be everywhere at that point. If I would have parked my car out front I would have died in the diner that day. Luckily I parked in the back parking lot so I went out the back door. It bought me time. The dead were too busy eating the families I just served in front of my work to notice me slipping out," Teresa describes.

"Oh my god honey, I am so sorry," Linda copes with a concerned look on her face.

"I'm not done yet, lady. Do you want to hear the rest of the story?" she asks.

Linda nods her head ignoring Teresa's aggresive posture.

"I rushed to the school to pick up my kids. It was hysteria. Parents were sprinting down the hallways trying to find their children as crowds went fleeing out every direction of the school. I could not fine my girls. So I rushed home in a desperate attempt. Once I pulled into my drive way, I realized it had already reached my neighborhood as well. My neighbors were dead out on their front lawns being picked away like a Bloomin' Onion at The Outback Steakhouse by so many different people I have never seen before. I rushed into my house to find my oldest daughter in her bedroom on the floor holding my youngest in her arms. She died of bite wounds on her neck minutes before I got there. Shortly after, she rose and attacked us. I had to kill my own daughter, Linda," Teresa stares on as she throws her cigerette butt on the ground and lights up another cigerette.

"Honey you had no choice. She wasn't your daughter at that point," Linda reasons.

At that point, one of the guards up in the tower yells down to both Linda and Teresa as he storms down the steps to the base of the guard tower and their location.

"Teresa! Damnit woman! What the hell did I tell you about throwing your cigerette butts on the ground! Trashy whore!" the man yells as he stands over Teresa within reaching distance.

At that point, he raises up his write hand and smacks her across the face with all of his might. Teresa falls off her seat as she stumbles in between the steps of the bleachers and calls out in pain.

"Do it again and you will regret it! Last time i'm going to say this!" the man yells as he glares at Linda as he walks back up to his guard tower to re-assume his duties.

Teresa shakes it off as she gives the man an evil glare.

"What are you looking at? Mind your own damn business!" Teresa yells to Linda.

Linda sits there in shock void of words to say at the moment.

Teresa appears tough as rocks, as she continues on with her story as she bends over to pick up her cigerette butt and toss it in her pocket.

"You don't tell me what she was. I don't need your mentoring. Once I killed my youngest, I fled to the car with my oldest. We took off like a bat out of hell for the interstate. Yeah, bad idea. Even for a small town like us, the traffic was horrendous. The accidents caused by drivers in sheer panic prevented us from moving any further. All of us were stuck in the road like sitting ducks. That is when they came out of the woodline. Dozens of them charging the rows of cars. Ripping people out and tearing flesh off them. Me and my daughter escaped our vehicle and ran for the woodline on the opposite side of the road. We were in the woods for days. Barely hanging out with no food and no water. Once I thought it was all over, we came across a single lane road out in the country side," Teresa goes on to explain.

"Then what happened? How did the both of you make it here?" she asks while attempting to forget the incident which just recently happened as Linda attempted to instill a sense of normalcy.

"We skirted the road for hours. Hoping somebody would come by and offer us a ride, anybody," Teresa says.

"Then Aaron and his men came along and picked you up right?" Linda asks as if she already knew what Teresa was about to say.

Teresa stares at her for a moment and begins crying.

"No. A group of bikers came across us. Around five or six of them. Their intentions were anything but of a good semaritan. Realizing we were out in the middle of no where, instead of helping us, they parked their bikes and beat us. Then proceeded to rape us. My daughter was raped right in front of me. Once they had her, they took me while she watched. Those sons of a bitches beat us so bad at the end and left us to die alongside of the road. Once they were finished with us, they took off hooting and hollering. I don't know how long we stayed there for. All I remember, are bright headlights of a pick up truck pulling up to us at night and throwing us in the back. When morning hit, me and my daughter woke up here," Teresa finishes as she sobs and tears run down her facial cheeks.

"These people saved me and my daughter's life," she goes on to add.

Linda appears horrified at this point as she places her hand over the woman's shoulder in order to comfort her.

Apparently, Teresa isn't finished.

"So that is why I support what they did here. Those sons of a bitches deserved it anyway. The Death's Head, the criminals, all of them deserve what they get. They are less human than those things out there," Teresa concludes.

Linda is now confused yet curious.

"Death's Head? Support?" Linda curiously asks.

Teresa is now still sobbing and goes on to articulate.

"Yeah the Death's Head. Those are the bikers who raped us. We'll wipe all of them out eventually just like we did to those prisoners!" an angered still distraught Teresa vows.

Linda glares at the woman with a disturbed look on her face. Teresa, now realizing she may have said too much and coming to the realization that Linda and the rest of the newcomers to the group were obviously left in the dark about some of the things that went on in the prison before they got here, now attempts to back track her story.

"You know, those bikers are evil. We have to make sure they do not hurt anyone else!" the now disturbed woman adds.

"What did you mean about wiping out those prisoners?" A concerned Linda asks.

Now feeling uneasy and attempting to extract as much information from Teresa as possible.

"Forget what I said. None of your damn business," Teresa now yells as she throws her second cigerette butt on the ground and walks off back into the kitchen. As she walks away, she turns her head back to Linda with a warning.

"Stay out of our affairs. You are just a guest. Remember that!" Teresa threatens.

Linda nods in acceptance.

Once Teresa is gone, Linda looks back up to the tower where the man came from earlier to hit on Teresa. She notices the man watching Teresa with a mean look on his face as she walks back into the building.

A worried Linda now sits by her lonesome trying to contemplate what she just heard. Are these people here who they say they are? Can she really trust them? More and more questions remain ever present in her mind while worry and doubt begins to overcome her.

At the moment, she isn't sure how she will approach this. She wants to tell the rest of the group, however fears the consequances of confrontation. The thought of these average family and church going people murdering defenseless human beings locked in a cage seems surreal. She decides to let it linger for her thoughts only.

Dusk is now approaching. Linda and Tabatha sit in their cells shortly after completing their duties for the day and engage in conversation while the rest retreat back to their beds and decide to take quick naps before dinner. Both of them are worried at the fact that the men have not returned yet. They fear something might have gone wrong. Linda keeps Tabatha's mind pre-occupied with small talk and the future her and Lance planned out before this nightmare started.

An hour or so has gone by until one of the members of the compound walk into their cell block to tell them their party has returned. Tabatha and Linda quickly shoot up and head for the motorpool to greet the returning members. Tabatha speed walks to the outside area where the vehicles are located and dodges the incoming armed men who just got back from the raid who are walking in the opposite direction of her.

Linda attempts to keep up the pace but falls behind. She also grows intimidated while noticing the heavy fire power the men of the compound seem to be welding. Once they push past the crowd and enter the motorpool, they see Riggs, Andrew, Lance, Dwayne and Randall unloading multiple trucks onto shopping carts which are being pushed back into the compound by awaiting staff.

Tabatha goes running up to Lance and tackles him with a hug and proceeds to kiss him. He shows his affection back to her. Riggs stops what he is doing and walks up to Linda greeting her.

"Hey there lady. How was your day?" Riggs asks while everyone in the general area are going a hundred different ways with their tasks.

"It was very busy. We got a lot done today. Looks like you boys had a busy day of your own. Did anything happen?" Linda asks giving Riggs a warm greeting with a friendly hug.

"Ahh nope. Nothing we can't handle. We got just about everything on the list. We seperated our stuff with their stuff. It's all in backpacks in the back of my ride," Riggs proudly states.

Linda thanks him.

Shortly after Andrew comes walking up to Linda. She hugs him as well welcoming him back.

"Hows Young Andrew? Is he enjoying his time here?" Andrew asks.

Linda smiles and tells him he's napping because Amy wore him out with games all day. Andrew smiles in response.

"Hey we picked us up some clothes too. I can finally get out of this smelly uniform!" an excited Andrew announces.

"Ha! We all know that uniform becomes you mister. You will be lost without it!" Riggs counters.

"Oh i'm sure he can move on. What do you think Andrew?" Linda asks with a joyful smile on her face.

Andrew agrees and tells her it's coming off the first chance he gets. That is when Dwayne yells back to the group as he helps load supplies onto carts.

"Hey this stuff ain't going to get unloaded by itself. Can a brother get some help?" Dwayne jokingly yells to Riggs, Andrew and Lance.

"Go on boys. We'll see you all for dinner. I'll wake the girls up and have them grab our stuff," Linda informs as she walks off.

"Sounds like a plan lady," Riggs responds as he walks back in Dwayne's direction to help unload the trucks.

Another night passes by. Andrew finds it harder and harder to sleep as the days go on. The visions of death and decay fill his mind in the dark hours which consume him in his bed. He tosses and turns constantly trying to block the thoughts out of his head. The more he thinks of his brother, the more he wants to cry. Days have gone by holding it in, however, Andrew realizes it won't last for long. As he lies in his bunk all by his lonesome, his eyes some what begin to water at the very real possibility of his brother's demise.

CHAPTER 6 ONE PERCENT CONT....

Postby NiGHTMARE-Z » Sun Mar 18, 2012 7:34 pm

Nights have now come and passed within the walls of the prison. A sense of normalcy has now come over the group. Security and stability have now come back into their lives as some members of the group, including Cynthia, have voiced their thoughts of staying there permanantly. A decision Riggs does not seem to rule out. On the other hand, Andrew is very well against it for obvious reasons. In the coming days, he had told everyone his reasons for needing to make it into Central Texas and protect his brother's family. Many members of the group understood his reasoning and made it clear that he may be on his own if things continue to work out for them there.

Coming to this realization, Andrew begun planning the trip alone. He figures once he gathers what he needs and can obtain a ride, he will be gone with or without his newly found friends. As time went on, the men went on more follow on raids and began gaining respect and trust amongst the other members of the prison survivors. Even Aaron, has voiced his praise towards Riggs, Andrew and the rest of their team.

"Won't ever go out the wire without ya'll ever again," Aaron constantly says throughout the days.

Many of the women have come to liking this place too. Especially Young Andrew, whom has formed an unbreakable bond and friendship with Amy.

Every day that passes, Andrew sees his room mates becoming more permanent in their living quarters. From furniture, to Xbox 360's and area rugs, Andrew doesn't see them leaving any time soon.

"Look brother, I see what you all are doing here. I don't blame any of you for it either. I think it's time we part ways. You know why," Andrew tells Riggs one morning as they are mopping one of the hallway floors down the way from Aaron's office.

Now apparently upset, trying to ignore the inevitable, Riggs leans his mop up against the wall as he stares at Andrew prepping himself for a long heartfelt speech as to why he wants him to stay. Andrew can see it at this point.

"Hey man, can we go outside and talk about this? I need a cigerette," Riggs concernly asks.

Andrew agrees. As they walk down the corridor towards the exit Andrew notices Riggs gathering his thoughts in silence. Andrew feels bad at this point but plans to stand his ground no matter what. Backing out of his promise to go for Trevor's family is out of the question.

Once the pair reach the exit, they walk into the warm summer sunlight of the courtyard which overseas the main entry gate into the prison. Guardsmen are still up in the towers keeping 24 hour watch as usual. A few of them turn back to look at Riggs and Andrew. A moment stare is met by them turning back around and going about their watchly duties while minding their own business.

Riggs reaches into his pants pocket and whips out his pack of cigerettes. He offers Andrew one. Andrew obliges. Once the two start smoking, Riggs begins pleading his case.

"Look man, for the short time that I have known you, I trusted you with my life, shared a cell with you, joked with you, almost died with you, ate every meal with you and became my best friend. Not sure if you really see it that way, however, if this matters any, you are our most competent security guy. You got the experience and the common sense to survive out there. Let me tell you, when the apocalypse came, I couldn't be more grateful for having a guy like you by my side," Riggs pronounces.

Andrew now feeling uncomfortable, looks back as he smokes.

"I really appreciate you saying all those things about me. This is a family matter though, I need to keep my word, Riggs," Andrew sadly explains.

Riggs looks back at him while shaking his head.

"We are your family now. How do you know they are still alive? How do you know Texas is still safe? You don't. The broadcasts stopped awhile ago," Riggs states.

"I have to take my chances. No option," Andrew bluntly responds.

"Might be the last chance you ever take brother. What about Young Andrew? What about Audrey? You two are already hitting it off. She adores you, even told me herself. Ever wonder why she is always coming into our cell to hang out with you and ask you to help her with something stupid?" Riggs adds.

Andrew is now smiling.

"I am pretty sure that she is capable of changing out the light bulb to her cell," Riggs says as he puts his hands up in the air attempting to seem obvious.

Right as Andrew goes to respond to Riggs humour, the loud roaring sounds of motorcycle motors are heard approaching off into the distance. Andrew holds his sentence as he attempts to carefully listen to the noise.

Riggs stays silent as well as he turns around and looks towards the watch towers by the gate. As the loud annoying sound grows closer, the men in the watch tower are seen quickly picking up their rifles off the walls and looking through their binoculars. In addition, loud music can now be heard coming from the source of the noise. Moments later, one of the guards lets go of his binoculars and lets it hang from his neck as he quickly runs up to the guard rail of the tower and yells down to Riggs and Andrew.

"Grab Aaron and the men! Quick! Bring the guns too!" yells the man.

Riggs and Andrew take off into a dead sprint back into the compound to round up the back up. A few minutes go by until they are able to round up enough fighters and weapons to push back to the gate for whatever is coming their way.

Once Riggs grabs Aaron, whom was in the bathroom relieving himself in one of the stalls, Andrew was only able to grab up five other men and quickly pull out some assault rifles from the armorery. Once they did this no time was wasted as they sprinted back to the gate.

Upon arriving at the base of one of the towers, Aaron quickly disperses his men into seperate guard towers overwatching the front of the perimeter while leaving a few back to guard the ground level.

Riggs and Andrew follow Aaron up the staircase to the top of the main tower which initially spotted the possible threat. The loud thunderous sounds of dozens of motorcycles can be heard fast approaching now as Andrew tails Riggs and Aaron up to the top.

Upon reaching the top, Aaron storms in and grabs the binoculars from one of the guard's hands and quickly begins looking through it off into the distance.

"What do we have here?" Aaron quickly asks expecting a quick response.

Andrew and Riggs, now both armed with M14 assault rifles, takes cover behind one of the concrete walls lining the guard rails in a defensive posture as they take aim outside into the perimeter while in kneeling positions.

"Bikers, a whole shit ton of them inbound," one of the guards responds as he releases the bipod legs to his Remington 700 VTR .308 caliber bolt action rifle and begins looking down his scope.

Andrew looks back at the man and notices he has a long eye relief and padding taped down to his buttstock cheek weld. Seems like he knows what he's doing Andrew thought as he pulled his bolt a quarter of the way back to make sure he had a round chambered in his rifle.

Aaron places the binoculars down on one of the tables as he reaches for another item laid out.

"Here, don't forget your damn sand sock!" reminds Aaron as he tosses a bulky green sock stuffed with airsoft pellets in the man's direction.

The man behind the sniper rifle carefully places the stuffed sack below his buttstock giving him a more stable position behind the rifle.

As the bikers fast approach, Andrew can now make out a familiar tune coming from the convey of bikes.

"Sounds like something familiar. Are they playing 'Cowboys Do More Dope'?" a confused Andrew asks as he looks back to the men. Everyone else shrugs at the comment.

"We listen to country. None of that hippy shit over here," responds Aaron as he chambers a round into his .45 Glock. Andrew turns away and looks back down his sights.

Aaron quickly gets on his hand held radio and begins barking out orders to his men in the guard towers.

"Now all of you listen up, don't be firing no damn rounds unless I say so or they begin shooting at us first. Got it? All positions respond!" Aaron orders.

All the guard towers can be heard keying the radio one at a time acknowledging the transmission.

Aaron then instructs everyone in the tower with them.

"I'm going to talk to these assholes. Just stay cool. Looks like The Death's Head," Aaron states.

At that moment Riggs now looks back to the men and notices the fear lingering in their eyes while attached to concerned looking faces. He then turns to Andrew.

"Looks like these guys are pretty serious. They weren't joking huh?" a nervous Riggs asks Andrew.

Andrew agrees and tells him to "stay cool".

"I'm always cool," jokes Riggs as he repositions his knee in order to to provide better firing support along the ledge.

Andrew smiles at his comment.

The bikers are now in plan view. There are more than a dozen of them, all fully armed on top of their Harley Davidson motorcycles. A black van is also seen following behind them. Andrew notices some with shotguns and assault rifles slung across their backs and wedged in between their ape hanger handle bars.

All of them appear to be wearing German Army helmets as was used in World War II. Just about all of them appear to be sporting cut up jeans of a variety of dark and blue colors. All of them are wearing the signature black vests representing that they are part of a motorcycle club. Various patches and insignia can be seen attached to their chests and helmets including The Death's Head symbol which was used by Adolf Hitler's SS during the last great war.

The bikers are now on the main strip of road which leads to the front gate. All of them drive around the obstacle which knocked out Andrew's bus before indicating they been here before. Upon stopping at the edge of the gate, the roaring sound of motors die down before all of them come to a complete stop.

Aaron just stands there in silence waiting for the situation to unfold. The biker who is in the lead, Deploys the stilt on his bike and hops off while the rest stay seated. One of the men in the back, whom has a boombox attached to one of his saddle bags on his bike, turns around to turn off the music which was playing ever so loudly.

The man who is now standing in the lead of the pack, reaches behind his back and draws out a twin barrel sawed off shotgun from a makeshift holster he had slung over him. He has a long black and grey beard with a muscular build. He wears cut up light blue jeans. In addition, long sleeves of offensive and death themed tattoos can be seen going up and down both of his bulging arms.

Andrew figures he is in his late 30's or early 40's. He also appears to be the only one with the patch which reads "1%". In addition, it also becomes apparent that he is the leader of the orginization. The main clue which gave that away to Andrew was one of his name tapes which read "President" with a Ranger Battalion scroll right above it.

The tall intimidating looking man, looks up into the watch tower as he slowly walks forward a few feet with his shotgun being held in one hand. With his free hand, he takes off his sun glasses.

"Aaron! Aaron! Get your ass out here!" yells the violent looking man.

His voice is horrendous, almost scary Andrew thought. That is when Aaron begins waving his arms signaling the biker leader to look in his direction.

"I'm right here Trim Vain. State your fucking business here!" yells Aaron in response.

"You know why i'm here! We have some unfinished business! But today, we can deal with another matter at hand!" the biker leader boldy states with fearlessness in his eyes

The man, obviously known as Trim Vain, leader of The Death's Head, now places his non-firing hand up in the air and snaps his fingers signaling his men to do something. Three of the bikers in the back quickly hop off their bikes and walk to the back of the convey where the black van remains parked.

"What the hell is going on!" Riggs whisphers to himself forgetting that Andrew is right next to him listening.

The men are seen opening up the doors to the van and pulling off two individuals with black bags attached to their heads. Their hands are bound behind their backs and tied up with rope. The bikers grab the men by the back of their necks and walk them up to Trim Vain. Once the apparent prisoners are in front of their leader, the bikers proceed to kick the bound individuals in the back of the knees forcing them down onto the pavement in kneeling positions with their heads down as they are lined up.

"Now Aaron, I think you know who these boys are. We sure do. I don't forget shit! You kill members of the Death's Head, retribution follows swiftly. However, I am a nice guy. A very nice guy in matter of fact. So because I am such a nice guy, I am willing to make you a trade. How does that sound? Are you willing to do business with your old boy Trim?" the biker arrogantly sounds off in an aggresive yet confident demeanor.

"Now you look here you son of a bitch! Your boys shot at us first! Remember that!" a now furious Aaron yells down to Trim Vain. The guard behind the Remington looks back to Aaron.

"Come on man go easy. They got the Dulin brothers. Sherry been worried sick and thought they were dead, Aaron!" the man pleads to Aaron as he attempts to reason with his leader. Aaron tells the man to shut his mouth and keep watching.

"Now I don't think you understand the ramifications of your words. You even going to hear me out?" Trim Vain warns as he places the barrel of his shotgun to the back of one of the men's head.

Aaron now growing worried for his men's safety, attempts to reason with the viscious biker.

"What is it you boys want then?" Aaron reluctantly asks.

Trim Vain now busts out laughing histerically. Everyone else in the tower are in akward silence.

Even Trim Vain's men, still seated on their bikes start to bust out laughing as well. Once their leader stops laughing, the rest stop as well.

Trim Vain, with his barrel still to the back of one of the men's head, decides to finally answer Aaron.

"You know just as well as I do, there has been some crazy shit going on out here, yeah? You know with the dead walking and all and mother fuckers being eaten alive, a man can get lonely in a post-apocalyptic world. Especially a traveling man of my caliber and stature. Seems like three main essentials are growing ever scarce in this world as the days go by. You feel me Aaron?" Trim Vain sarcastically asks as he appears to be toying with Aaron.

Aaron shakes his head in silence.

"Let's just get down to business, fearless leader. I want half your arsenal, half your fuel supply and six of your women. Pussy, guns and fuel. I know you got enough to share. If you give me those three things, you can have these brothers back. Aren't family reunions so touching, Aaron?" Trim Vain states with a sinister grin on his face.

Aaron's eyes grow wide as he stands there speechless.

"I'm going to smoke this cigerette. Once i'm finished, I want an answer," Trim Vain says as he walks back to his bike and takes a seat.

At that point Aaron decides to sit down on the floor and lean his back against the wall. The guards inside the tower lower their weapons and walk up to him as they begin whisphering to their leader in private.

Riggs tells Andrew to stay put and keep eyes on them as he walks up to the group to weigh his opinion in. That is when Aaron begins yelling at Riggs for him to stay out of it and go back to his position. Riggs shakes his head in frustration and walks back to Andrew.

"Mother fucker. Let his people deal with it then," Riggs tells Andrew as he gets back behind his weapon.

Some time goes by as they watch Trim Vain lean back on his bike placing his hands behind his head while taking puffs from his cigerette. The man looks relaxed and calm. The other two men with bags over their heads are still kneeling. Andrew can hear one of them starting to cry out loud from inside the bag.

As a result, the bikers begin laughing as if they were getting some type of sick pleasure out of the torment of another human being.

Trim Vain finally finishes his smoke.

"Aaron!" yells Trim Vain as he stands up from his seat on his dark bike.

Aaron and his guards have just concluded their meeting.

"What's it going to be little man?" Trim Vain taunts.

Aaron, whom is now looking at Riggs and Andrew with regret, gives his response.

"I will give you five women. Half the guns and half the fuel. Then you give our boys back and leave us the hell alone for good!" reluctantly responds Aaron in a broken voice.

"No can do you cheap bastard. I got six captains, all of whom are horny as hell and enjoy long walks on the beach with their future wives. I can't go sharing the fifth one. You are going to have to do better than that!" yells Trim Vain.

Andrew and Riggs are now apalled at what Aaron just agreed to. They now place their weapons down and stare at eachother in shock.

"Hey, what five women is Aaron talking about?" asks Andrew as his eye brow raises in suspicion.

"Not sure, but I think that I got a pretty good idea," Riggs responds as he thinks of Linda, Tabatha, Tammy, Audrey and Cynthia.

"Just what the hell do you think you are doing, Aaron?" Riggs yells as he stands up with his rifle at the low ready. Riggs is now contemplating drawing it on Aaron.

"Sit the hell down Riggs," Aaron screams back.

"What five are you about to offer that scum bag, Aaron?" Andrew now yells.

"We have no choice. I can't let those boys down," Aaron says while placing his head down in sorrow.

"Well guess what, you can't have them," Riggs firmly orders.

Aaron now glares at the men as his guards bring their weapons down as if they were about to draw them on Riggs and Andrew. At that moment, Trim Vain begins counting down from ten at the top of his lungs.

"10......9....8......7......6.....5," Trim Vain yells encouraging Aaron to give in to his will.

Everyone in the tower now moves to the ledge to over look what is going on.

"Give me that sixth piece of pussy, Aaron," Trim Vain taunts as he replants the barrels of the shotgun to the head of one of the men.

At that moment, a few of the bikers run up to the other bound man on the ground and proceed to drag him back into the black van out of sight of the tower.

"4....3.....2.....," Trim Vain continues.

"Don't do this!" Aaron yells.

"One."

The sound of the shotgun going off is loud and thunderous as it echos throughout the woodline and the compound. The man whom was kneeling with a bag over his head is now laying flat on his stomach on the pavement as blood runs out of the open wound of his neck. His head is now scattered in dozens of little places by the edge of the gate. Brain matter and flesh can be seen flying in every different direction. The pool of blood grows larger as Trim Vain wipes some of it off his leather vest.

Seconds later, all of the bikers begin reving their motors in celeberation and begin cheering. All the guards in the towers now draw their weapons on Trim Vain and prepare to open fire until Aaron begins frantically yelling for them to stop.

"They still got the other one. Hold your damn fire! I said hold your damn fire!" orders Aaron over the radio numerous times. Nobody shoots.

A smiling, joyful Trim Vain looks back up to Aaron with a wide smile. He is now looking him in his eyes.

"We'll be back," Trim Vain vowes before he turns around and hops back on his bike.

All of the bikers turn around yelling and whistleing as they take off with the van in the rear once again.

At that moment, Riggs throws down his weapon and marches up to Aaron in a fit of rage.

"You son of a bitch!" Riggs yells as he grabs Aaron by his collar and shoves him up against the wall.

The guards quickly tackle Riggs as a result. Andrew sees this and goes running to Rigg's aid.

Once he hops into the pile of embattled men, Andrew begins throwing blows at the guards in order to get them off his friend.

"Stop this! Stop this right now!" orders Aaron as he draws his .45 on the group whom are now paused while looking up at Aaron on the ground.

"Both of you come to my office now. We'll talk," orders Aaron.

Riggs and Andrew rise up in silence while they stare down the guards as they exit the tower.

An hour goes by while Andrew and Riggs work out their differences with Aaron in his office, alone. Once they finally conclude the meeting, the pair walk out of the office being greeted by Linda and the rest of the group.

"What happened? Is everyone okay?" an anxious Audrey asks Andrew as she dashes for him the moment he steps out into the hallway. Everyone else has questioned of there own. Except for Young Andrew, who is off playing with Amy as usual.

Riggs tells Andrew to hold off on the information. He then tells everyone to head back to their row and meet him in his cell for a meeting shortly. Linda seems concerned as usual and walks with Riggs back to their living area conversing amongst eachother.

Aaron is seen walking out of his office shortly after the group makes it down the hallway. Andrew noticed that he appeared to be walking back to the guard tower they all just came from.

Once everyone huddled into Riggs and Andrew's cell and found themselves a spot to sit, Riggs went on to explain the situation.

Once he got to the horrific part about the mock execution by the biker leader known as "Trim Vain", all of them appeared disgusted and shocked as a result.

Once Andrew explained Aaron's selfish intentions of pawning the women of the group off, Lance immediately entered a fit of rage and tried to storm out the cell to attack Aaron. Dwayne and Andrew quickly stopped him and talked him down. At that point, Tabatha and Tammy began crying in fear of what was to come.

Riggs calms their nerves later on, by telling them Aaron's supposed "true" intentions, which he explained to Andrew and Riggs later on in the office. Only resulting in the peaceful resolution which has followed.

"He assured me that he never would have done that. He was just trying to bide time. It would of gave him enough time to head back into the compound and round up as many fighters as possible and to position snipers up on the rooftops. He gives us his word," Riggs convincingly explains.

Dwayne, Lance nor any of the women bought it.

"Yeah right. All they would have to do is send their men in here armed and force us out into the street. What could we have done? You really think they would have fought to the death for us?" a frightened Tammy exclaims.

"Tammy is right. they wouldn't have sacrificed their own for us strangers," Cynthia adds.

Riggs is speechless.

"I don't like this place Riggs. We can't trust them," Linda adds agreeing with the rest of the women.

Tabatha stays silent, apparently now shaking. Lance attempts to comfort her.

"So what about those bikers? The Death's what?" Audrey curiously asks while trying to extract more information out of Riggs.

"The Death's Head, Audrey. They said they would be back," Riggs truthfully admits.

"Yeah they still have one of Aaron's men. So it isn't over. Nothing good is going to come of this. We should leave," firmly states Andrew.

Randall begins shaking his head in disagreement.

"How can you say that! We are safe here. Hot food, showers everyday, clean clothes and security. We go out there and it's practically a death sentence!" Randall pleads.

"Stay here any longer and we just might get the chair," Dwayne counters.

"Dwayne and Andrew are right, Riggs. One of the ladies I was working with earlier told me about her run in with the Death's Head. This has been going on longer than we thought. It will only get worse from here on out," Linda reasonably states.

Everyone at this point agrees with the exception of Randall. Riggs isn't quite convinced yet either.

"Look, a few more raids into the built up areas will bide us enough time to prepare for the road. In the next coming days if we can't get the rest of those tires, we'll just have to secure us a ride out there and drive it back. I'll talk to Aaron about it. However, at this time, I told him we are still being team players. We need to stay on their good side long enough to get what we need and be out of here. As much as I hate to admit," Riggs reasons with the group in a desperate attempt to prevent anymore needless danger.

Everyone is silent at this point. Andrew likes what he is hearing and agrees with Riggs. Regardless of the matter, they all want out at this point. Which is good for his cause.

Linda gives Riggs her serious face as she agrees with him. Riggs looks around shortly after Linda gave the go ahead and asks if anyone objects. Everybody seems okay with it at this point, of course, with the exception of Randall who wants to stay permanently.

The next raid planned by Aaron and his men came shortly later in the week. All of the men, including Rigg's team, were involved. One of the towns they were to hit were believed to posess a number of weapons and ammunitions still locked away in one of the local gunshops located in the center of town near it's police station and town hall.

In addition, Aaron's scouts identified a secure section of the police station where many squad cars and tactical assault vans still remained unscathed. Rigg's made it clear to Aaron he needed to attain one of those vehicles for his group. As a gesture of good will, he gave up posession of the bus to Aaron for whatever purpose they may use for it later on down the line. Aaron agreed to all of this without any incident.

"Do what you have to do," he politely told Riggs once it was brought to his attention.

Riggs realized after this raid, if everything went according to plan, maybe they would just have to do one more to grab some food and water for the road.

The raiding party received their briefing by Aaron. Tactical positioning was briefed, along with duties and responsibilities. Once Aaron briefed the final last known activity in the area, the men saddled up to go hit yet another town.

The place they were going to this time, wasn't as far as the first one. It has been mainly overlooked for quite some time due to the major activity of the dead roaming the streets in vast numbers. Over time, they wandered off in all different direction after the "food supply" became depleted. This was Aaron's emo. Wait for activity to die down and sweep the area for whatever they could get their hands on. Bare essentials mostly.

It was only a thirty minute drive to the area they needed to be in. Riggs volunteered his group to search the police station for any additional weapons while the other teams hit the gun store across the street. Once they entered the town and the main down town strip, the obvious sight was ever present just like all the other towns they ever went into.

Charred vehicles, rotten corpses, bullet riddled buildings and broken out shop windows. On the way in, only a few infected individuals were spotted still roaming the area by the roads. Aaron's men quickly disposed of them with the front grills of their trucks. Aaron made it clear, like always, to hold fire unless absolutely necessary after learning that sound is what can attract them from miles away.

Once all the vehicles got into their positions and lined up along the strip of road, the assault teams hopped off with their weapons slung. Aaron's men went across the road and used bolt cutters to subdue the shop's padlocked door while Rigg's men dismounted on the other side and stormed up the front steps of the police station. Riggs spotted the police motorpool he needed to hit out the corner of his eye and noticed the gate was padlocked as well.

Upon entering the front door of the police station, Andrew took lead with his AK-47 up and ready to shoot. The rest of the men followed behind. They quickly began clearing all of the rooms and offices. Riggs took Lance up to the second floor and cleared that while Andrew, Dwayne and Randall took care of the bottom level.

Nothing out of the ordinary was noted by either team. Just the normal lifeless corpses laying in the hallways. Andrew also noticed some of the detainees whom lie dead in their cells after never being let out during all the chaos. It appeared they had died of starvation or dehydration.

Once Andrew and Riggs linked back up with eachother, they all entered the main office and began looking for the motorpool keys. Riggs opened up a wall mounted box with a number of labeled keys. All of them were number coded and broken up in groups by acronyms. Randall suggested that he just takes all of them so they wouldnt have to come back. Rigg's obliged. On the way out, Dwayne reminds them about the armorery.

"Screw that. I just told Aaron that so he'd agree to letting us do this. I'll just tell him we didn't find anything. Main priority is the damned vehicles," Riggs informs.

Dwayne raises up the usual eye brow as he done so many times before.

Moments later the men hit the street. As they moved from the front entrance to the front gate, Riggs ordered Randall to jump across the road and grab up the bolt cutters from Aaron's men as they waited by the fenceline leading up to the motorpool. Randall seemed agitated that he was picked out of the group to do this but decided not to say anything.

Once he returned, Andrew quickly grabs it from his hands and snaps open the lock. Riggs passes out the keys and tell them to try the remaining dozen vehicles still left in the lot. As the men are dispersed trying to go through their keys attempting to open doors of multiple police cruisers, Riggs notices Aaron's men bringing out boxes of ammunition and bundles of weapons back to their vehicles.

Moments later, Lance is the first one to find a cruiser which he can get into and proceeds to start it up. Once the engine starts up, an excited Lance attempts to hop out of the vehicle to let the men of his group aware of the good news. As he does this, the sound of gunfire rings out into the street.

Lance, out of instinct, quickly drops to the pavement chest first as an initial reaction of the loud popping sounds. More gunfire follows from there while hearing Aaron's group across the street screaming and barking orders.

Riggs, whom is now in a cruiser as well attempting to start one up, yells back to his guys to "keep trying" while he realizes his vehicle falls short of starting.

The reluctant men are now fumbling with their keys and staying low as even more volleys of fire are heard. At this point, Andrew looks over to see what the situation is when he notices Aaron's men ducking for cover and taking up positions behind their vehicles and along the walls of the local shops as they shoot down the road they just came in on.

Cracks and bullets weezing by are noticed. At that point, Andrew realizes Aaron's men is in a fire fight with someone else.

"Hey guys! They are being shot at by someone!" Andrew yells back to the other members of his group as he takes cover behind a cruiser and pokes his weapon out towards the road.

Riggs hops out of his vehicle in anger.

"God damnit. Let's go see what's going on. We need these guys to get back," Riggs barks as he calmly walks up to the street of where the gunfire is taking place while welding his weapon as if nothing phased him.

The other men follow behind scanning rooftops and windows. Randall decides to stay in a cruiser as the fear overwhelms him.

Andrew pushes ahead of Riggs up to a medium high concrete divider in the sidewalk. He pokes his head over to make out where the firing is coming from when he spots around five individuals down the street sprinting across the road as they are shooting in his direction. Two other men on motorcycles are falling in behind as they pass up the men on foot and proceed to use the buildings as cover in order to move up.

Andrew begins moving his arms in different directions back towards the rest of the group signaling them to spread out and find cover.

Riggs takes a knee behind a bus stop and yells back to Andrew.

"What do you see?" Riggs shouts

"Death's Head! I am sure of it. Theres a lot of them," Andrew yells back to Riggs.

At that point Aaron's men return a hellish volley of fire back at the bikers. One of his men laid down flat in one of the pick up trucks decided to use it as a platform to unload rounds down the street with his RPK supported by deployed bipod legs. Andrew notices the man drop three Death's Head instantly as they attempted to rush up the street from cover to cover towards the gun shop.

Now more motorcycles are making the turn onto the main road behind the armed gunman whom are on foot pushing forward as they follow behind them shooting from their bikes. The men on the ground are staying on the sidewalks and going from shop to shop as cover. As they approach closer, Aaron quickly realizes he is about to be over ran as he is clearly out numbered.

That is when Riggs and the rest of his group, with the exception of a hiding Randall, begins opening fire down the street towards the approaching bikers.

Aaron sees this and uses this to mount his guys up on their vehicles.

Aaron quickly pushes his guys out of the shop as Rigg's men lay down effective supressing fire and begins frantically ordering them to mount up on the vehicles in order to escape while they still have time.

As the men funnel into their vehicles one by one as Rigg's group continues to engage the advancing enemy, the bikers notice this and begin lobbing more rounds towards Aaron's vehicles. As a result, two of his men are shot dead instantly in the road as they attempted to get back in their vehicles.

Aaron also makes a run for it once the first two went down and manages to hop in the lead cab safely. The remaining men in the shop, desperately try to make it to their vehicles as they are shot down in the back while opening the doors to their rides.

At that point, Aaron and the remaining members of his group peel out and take off in a hurry without even attempting to collect their dead and wounded.

Riggs notices five of Aaron's men lie dead in the streets. Two more are badly wounded and are bleeding out as they desperately cry for help. In addition, two vehicles are left behind including the one with the weapons that was just taken from the gun shop.

"That son of a bitch!" Yells Riggs.

Dwayne, now leaning his side up against a concrete wall, refuses to poke his head out as he raises his weapon up from cover to spray down the road towards the attackers.

"We need to get the hell out of here!" he frantically yells.

Lance is held up behind a burnt out vehicle along the sidewalk. He stays silent at the moment as he positions his rifle below the vehicle and uses the break in space as a loophole to fire down the street. Lance spots more bikers sprinting across the road and continues to return fire on their location while effectively hitting multiple individuals in their limbs while they were moving.

At that point, a mob of frantic screams and moans can be heard approaching off into the distance directly behind them. Everyone, including Riggs, looks back in horror as they spot several infected approaching their locations.

Behind them however, they can hear what sounds like hundreds. Obviously being attracted by the loud noise. Now realizing they don't have much time and will be surrounded soon, Lance begins to panic as he shifts his fire in the opposite direction towards the oncoming mob.

"Riggs!" yells Andrew seeking help as the bikers now turn their fire in his direction and slowly begin chipping away at his concrete wall he lays behind for cover.

Riggs, realizing that his men had just been left to die and pressed for time, decides to run back to the police cruiser. He quickly hops in the driver's seat and starts up the engine. As soon as he takes off, he notices Randall in the back seat curled up in the fetal position staring up at him with a scared look in his eyes. Riggs shakes his head and decides not to say anything.

From there, he floors the gas pedal down and makes a sharp turn into the street. His vehicle is instantly riddled with bullets as he keeps his head low to the steering wheel. Bullets begin hitting the windshield and hood as well.

Riggs attempts to position the police cruiser horizontily across the road between Andrew and one of the trucks left behind by Aaron with the guns on it. Once he does this, he quickly opens up the door on the driver's side and crawls out facing towards Andrew and the rest of the group.

"Come on you bastards. We ain't got much time! Stay low and move to that truck!" Riggs yells back as he crouches and moves towards one of the trucks in the middle of the road.

Once he is in the vehicle, he takes a glance through the backseat passenger side window, from which he had entered and notices the wounded men laying on the ground reaching their arms out to him for help. One of them is crying while the other keeps repeating out loud the word, "please".

Riggs places his head down attempting to ignore the doomed men.

The rest of Rigg's men pick up from their positions and move across the dangerous street, using the police cruiser Riggs just drove up for cover. Randall quickly crawls through the front and out the driver's seat as bullets begin shooting through the cab.

Riggs now crawls over the front seats of his vehicle and hops in the driver's seat. Without delay, he quickly opens up the back door for everyone to funnel in. Once all of them are in the vehicle, including Randall, Riggs takes off down the road at a high rate of speed maneurving around debris and vehicles.

Right as the hungry mob approaches his vehicle, he quickly turns off down a side road and out of sight. Attention is now directed towards Aaron's men whom lie in the street all by their lonesome, screaming for help.

The bikers see this as Trim Vain is asked by one of his captains from his motorcycle if they should finish off the remainder of Aaron's men so the dead can not get to them. Trim Vain stays silent for a second as he observes their screams as the mob slowly approaches them with hunger in their eyes.

"The dead got to eat too. Fuck em," Trim Vain stoically states.

The remaining bikers don't say a word as they hop back on their rides and turn around to take off.

CHAPTER 6 ONE PERCENT CONT...

Postby NiGHTMARE-Z » Mon Mar 19, 2012 10:40 pm

"Come on Andrew it will be fine, don't be scared!" taunts Amy as she pulls on his hand attempting to drag him down the stairwell with her to the locations of Cell Block B, C and D. Young Andrew nervously looks down from the guard rail of the stairs to the lower levels where lighting is out and only darkness can be seen.

"We aren't allowed to go down there, remember? It's off limits!" Young Andrew reminds his friend Amy while attempting to offer an excuse to cover up his fear.

A mischievess Amy however, isn't buying it.

"I have been wanting to go down there since forever! I could never get anyone to go with me though. Especially the grown ups! I think you are brave enough to go with me, aren't you Andrew?" Amy suggests.

"I don't know. We could get in trouble," Young Andrew admits as he places his head down weighing his options. An impatient Amy now decides to use reverse pschyology.

"You aren't afraid, are you?" Amy says with a grin.

Young Andrew snaps back.

"Hell no! When have I ever been afraid?" he asks.

"I don't know. I'm willing to bet right now." she taunts.

"Let's go then," Young Andrew orders as he takes lead while beginning to walk slowly down the stairwell.

Amy quickly follows and grabs his hand as they guide eachother down. The further down the levels they go, the darker it becomes.

"We need a flashlight," admits Young Andrew.

Amy tells him to hold on as she reaches into her pocket.

"I got my dad's lighter, see?" Amy boasts as she lights it up illuminating a small portion of their area.

The further down they go, Andrew begins noticing a change of tempature and smell.

"It smells so bad down here. Worse than garbage," he explains.

"Yeah I know. I think i'm about to throw up," Amy says as she attempts to cover her nose and mouth with her hand in order to block out the stinch.

The pair approached the steel doors of Cell Blocks B and C. To their dissapointment, the lever which was supposed to lower at a 90 degree angle to unlock the dead bolt, failed to open.

"Looks like we can't get in. We should go back up," advises Young Andrew.

Amy isn't convinced.

"Hey scaredy cat, theres still one more level. Don't chicken out now," Amy continues to taunt.

Andrew shakes his head in disagreement.

"Okay let's go down there just to be dissapointed again," Andrew sarcastically says expecting the door to be locked.

Upon reaching the lowest level of the prison now, the darkness consumes them so greatly they wouldn't even be able to see their hands in front of their faces if Amy didn't have her father's lighter.

Once reaching the steel entrance door to Cell Block D, Amy attempts to raise up the lever. To her and Andrew's surprise, the lever shoots up instantly. The sound of the locking mechanism is heard disengaging from it's previous setting as the door creeps open slowly.

Andrew's eyes are widen now with fear and regret. He didn't expect the door to open like it did, now he has to keep his word to Amy and go in. Amy quickly jumps behind Young Andrew and asks him to go first. Andrew, trying to act brave. reluctantly walks forward through the door as Amy follows behind him holding his shoulders.

"Scary huh?" Amy exclaims.

Andrew doesn't respond. As the kids enter the corridor, they notice some flickering lights down the way illuminating parts of the hallway. Most of the lights are out. Once they reach the end, they come across a clearing in the center of the complex which appeared to be used as a common area for the prisoners due to the fact that it held old worn out couches, tables, a few book shelves and an old dusty television which probably didn't work.

Amy and Young Andrew begin looking around at the books and testing the softness of the couches by sitting on them for a brief moment. Once they are finished, Amy notices three levels surrounding the center common area. These levels can be accessed by stairs located in only one area of the complex.

"Hey let's go check out all the cells on the upper levels! Bet you we'll find something interesting!" Amy suggests with excitement.

Young Andrew isn't interested at this point and still wants to leave, however, decides to make Amy happy by agreeing with her and following her up the stairwell.

Once they enter the first level, she quickly begins testing each door to see if they would even open. To her surprise, all of them seemed to be unlocked. Her and Andrew inspected just about every single cell in that block without finding anything of interest inside. All they came across was personal hygeine items, newspapers and a few drawings. Amy seemed dissapointed.

Andrew, now ready to leave once again, suggests that they go back now. Right when Young Andrew says this, Amy spots another corridor at the third level of the cell block with large white spray painted letters on the concrete wall reading "TO CELL BLOCK C AND B".

She quickly makes up her mind at that point as she takes off running towards it. Young Andrew falls in behind attempting to keep up so he is not left alone. Once Amy reaches the beginning of the entrance, she looks back to Andrew.

"Come on let's go! We're bound to find something cool!" she excitingly states as she begins moving down the hallway at a quick pace.

Andrew finally catches up to her.

Upon entering the next cell block, it became known to them that the security level there was less than the previous one for they noticed the cells were four to five men rooms with bars encaging them in. Unlike Cell Block D, which was obviously maximum security.

Upon entering, the pair noticed the area fully lighted as opposed to the previous one in which it was so dark you could barely see five feet ahead of you. In addition, they both noticed something lingering in every cell which comprised of three more additional levels as well.

"What's in there?" Amy curiously asks Andrew.

Young Andrew can not make it out from this distance.

"Well whatever it is, it's not moving," Young Andrew reasons.

He then decides to approach the first cell to inspect what is inside.

At this point the stinch, which already was strong enough, becomes almost unbearable. Bugs and flies can be heard picking away at something, including rats as well. Once Andrew approaches the bars, he grips both of them with his hands and pokes his head in.

Amy stands back a few feet from him asking him what he sees. At that moment, Andrew begins walking backwards until he bumps into Amy.

"What? What is it Andrew?" she curiously asks.

Andrew is frozen stiff. He can not say a word at the moment for he appears to be in shock. Amy decides to find out herself as she approaches the bars in order to conquer the lack of light. Once she realizes what Andrew just saw, she backs up as well.

"Are they all like this?" Amy asks Andrew.

Andrew remains silent and consumed with fear. Not unsure of what to do at the moment, she begins looking all around her in circles as she observes each level and coming to the realization this isn't the only one.

"There are dead people in there," Andrew states with a calm voice while still appearing shocked.

Amy now quickly turns back to Andrew, "Yeah, there are dead people in every cell."

At that moment, loud music can be heard from outside the prison walls once again. The loud rumbling of motors and gunshots follow the sounds of the music.

"We need to get out of here Andrew," Amy quickly orders as she grabs his hand and takes off running back the way they came.

Riggs accelerates on the gas. He begins reaching speeds of almost 110 mph down the freeway as he returns to Aaron's prison. The mood in the cab of the truck can best be described as furious as all of the men, including Andrew, intend to have Aaron's head on a platter for leaving them back there.

All of them remain silent during the entire trip. Obviously lost of words, nothing needed to be said at that moment. For many of them, it was their first time being involved in a firefight and many were shaken, especially Randall and Lance.

Nobody ridiculed Randall, not even Riggs for hiding at that point. Nobody like Riggs and Andrew understood the sheer terror it can inflict upon most men as some will act strangely. They already knew he couldn't be trusted in the first place, so none of it came as a surprise to them.

Andrew was never engaged in any serious combat during the duration of his tour to Iraq, however, he was definately in the right mind set due to years of service. More than what the others could say.

As they approach the prison, Riggs and Andrew, whom are in the front of the cab, begin noticing more walking dead activity along the stretch of road which leads up to their compound. Andrew has already spotted up to twenty straddlers wandering around along the roadway and the shoulder. Riggs just went around them without paying them no mind. None of the men in the group dared to comment on the change of scenerary.

Once they finally push through the wooded area, they now have the prison in plain view across the open plains. To the group's horror, they notice now even more of the undead strolling across the plains and even up to the perimeter shaking the fenceline of the prison. At this point, it seems to be just short of a hundred of them scattered all around the prison.

In addition, they also notice a mob of bikers circleing the perimeter and avoiding their hungry assailants as they drive their bikes around their reaching arms to catch up with the rest of the pack. A few of them are shooting off their weapons into the air as a black van is seen driving up and down the road to the front gate of the prison blaring music on loud speakers.

"What the hell is this!" Riggs yells as he begins punching his wheel.

Andrew tells him to calm down as he reaches for his weapon located between his legs in order to make sure he has enough rounds in his banana clip.

"Looks like those bastards are trying to attract those things our way!" Dwayne exclaims.

Lance quickly reaches over the driver's side seat to inspect the situation.

Randall, takes a good look and begins crying.

"They are all going to kill us!" he whimpers.

Everyone in the vehicle tells him to shut up at the same time. Randall ignores them and continues to sob.

Right as Riggs takes the turn onto the road which leads to the main gate, the watch towers begin opening fire on the bikers. Volleys of fire are heard being exchanged. The black van which is closest to Rigg's vehicle, now quickly stops and turns around with it's back facing towards the gate a few hundred meters down the road. That is when the duel rear doors in the back fly open as the van remains stationary.

Riggs notices two bikers laying in the prone while they are aiming down their rifles.

Riggs begins to frantically scream warning attempting to warn his passengers.

"Get the hell down!"

Everyone inside the cab sinks into their seats so their heads are not exposed.

That is when cracking sounds are heard impacting the hood and weezing through while shattering their glass windows.

Riggs struggles to control the vehicle as he accelerates on the pedal without seeing the road in a deseperate attempt to escape the barrage of bullets. Luckily, the gate guard notices the vehicle to be their own and quickly opens up so Rigg's vehicle can enter.

Once inside Riggs quickly pops his head up and attempts to reclaim control of the vehicle while depressing the brake. In effect, he skids sideways and slams the passenger side of the vehicle into the brick wall of the compound, effectively halting the vehicle immediately.

The smoke and sheer impact of the crash placed all of the passengers in a dazed and confused state. Once Riggs was able to gather himself, with some minor cuts and bruises, he kicks open his driver's side doors and proceeds to help Andrew and the rest out onto the pavement.

Everyone's injuries appeared to be minor as they laid back first on the pavement just realizing they narrowly escaped. Gunfire can still be heard from multiple directions as Riggs stumbles to each man insuring he is okay and no injury is life threatening. Once he realizes everyone is okay and just kind of out of it at that point, he stumbles into the compound to confront Aaron.

While Andrew is on the ground, he notices Riggs taking off by himself into the building. Andrew instantly realized what his intentions were as he noticed Riggs welding his XD .40 sub-compact in his right hand.

"Riggs! Stop!" Andrew yells.

Riggs pays him no mind. Andrew painfully forces himself to stand up as his cut up eye begins running blood down his face.

"God damnit Riggs! Wait for me! You need to stop!" Andrew yells at the top of his lungs back to Riggs, desperately attempting to reason with him once he was able to enter the building and get sight of a stumbling Riggs who struggles to stay erect one wall at a time.

Riggs turns around in a confused state welding his pistol.

"What do you want! I'm going to take care of this!" responds Riggs.

"Not now Riggs. He has too many people. We won't survive. Just give me the god damn gun!" Andrew orders.

Riggs stares him down with contempt then defies him by turning around and continueing to stumble towards Aaron's office in order to blow his brain's out.

Andrew begins chasing him as he limps and struggles to walk.

"Riggs! Don't shoot him! Riggs!" Andrew continues to painfully yell as he attempts to maintain his balance.

That is when Riggs collapses face first into the pavement and passes out. His gun falls to the floor and accidently discharges a round as it slides up against the wall harmlessly.

As a result of the accidental discharge, Andrew quickly fell to the ground in an attempt to avoid being hit. The bullet harmlessly enters one of the walls which is reinforced by concrete.

Shortly after, some of Aaron's guards come running up with rifles in hand while aiming down their sights. Once they realize it's Andrew and Riggs they quickly drop their weapons.

"You guys alright?" asks one of the guards as he leans over and attempts to pick up Andrew.

Andrew explains what happened and tells them there are more outside in need of medical aid. A few of the guards run outside to help the others as gunfire ceased along with the loud annoying music. The motorcycles outside can be heard going away as the noise fades off into the distance.

Andrew, Riggs and the rest are helped up by some of Aaron's men and taken to the infirmary. Linda along with Audrey and the rest of the women, with the exception of Cynthia, come running to the infirmary once they got word about what has happened to them.

A few hours go by as sporadic gunfire can be heard coming from the outer perimeter, obviously Aaron's guards are trying to thin the ranks of the dead which are growing vast in numbers around the walls. Riggs still appears to be knocked out as the rest of the men are doing quite fine. Andrew got the cut above his eye flushed out and cleaned, then secured with gauze and medical tape.

Linda and Audrey took some chairs and made themselves comfortable beside Andrew as they began to talk to him. Tabatha won't give Lance any breathing room as she smothers him with hugs and kisses and Tammy waits beside Riggs for him to wake up.

"What the hell happened out there?" Linda asks in a worrisome tone of voice.

Audrey asks a similiar question with concern, then reiterates how grateful she is for their safe return.

"Long story Linda. Sure you want to know?" Andrew warns.

Linda and Audrey nod their heads impatiently.

Dwayne appears finished at this point as he only had some minor bruises. He decides to walk off and reside in his lonesome. Nobody in the group pays him any mind.

After an hour goes by of Andrew explaining what had happened, a shocked and disgusted Linda and Audrey weigh in their opinions. That is when Young Andrew comes running up to Linda and goes straight into her arms.

"What is wrong hunny? The loud noise is overwith now, nothing to be afraid of," Linda states as she attempts to comfort Young Andrew in her arms, shortly followed by another sporadic gunshot out on the perimeter.

"There is something you have to see. It's really scary," Young Andrew claims.

Linda, not realizing the ramifications of what the boy is trying to tell her, assumes the child is going to show her a body laying outside or a dead rat.

"Where is this scary thing you want to show me?" Linda asks.

"Down stairs. In the blocked off cell blocks. You have to see it," Young Andrew exclaims in terror.

That is when Andrew butts in, "Hey buddy, you aren't allowed down there. I think you're going to be in big trouble with Linda!"

"No, you have to see this. I'm serious please believe me," Young Andrew pleads as he tugs on Linda's arm.

Audrey rises up from her chair and places her hand over Young Andrew's shoulder.

"I will go with you. Let's go kiddo," she encourages.

Linda looks concerned and then nods her head.

"Just take him back down there to confront whatever it is so he sleeps better tonight. Let's not ever go back down there again though, okay champ?" Linda persuades as she looks back to Young Andrew.

Young Andrew places his head down in defeat and nods his head while giving up on the chance of anyone believing him on how important his discovery is. Linda decides to stay with Andrew and talk some more until Riggs can wake up. Once he does, Linda intends to have a long talk with him.

Andrew as well.

"Come on Audrey, hurry!" Young Andrew urgently suggests as he attempts to run while pulling her arm down the flight of steps. He takes her the exact same way her and Amy went. As they enter the restricted area Audrey begins complaining about the odor.

"Oh yeah I also forgot, i'm not supposed to tell anyone this. Amy made me promise," Young Andrew adds as he guides her to the next entry way.

Audrey begins to use her wisdom and attempts to coach Young Andrew on the importance of keeping promises to a person, until she stumbles upon what the children have not too long ago.

"See. I told you. Do you see it?" Young Andrew exclaims

"Oh my god, Andrew!"

Audrey walks from cell to cell closely inspecting the horrific scenes each one has to offer. To Audrey, it appears there are piles of bodies in every single cell, no more than ten and no less than five for every living area.

All of them appear to have been shot in the head execution style. Some of them wear prison guard and staff outfits as others are wearing bright orange prisoner jump suits with the prisoner codes embroided on their backs.

The rats can be seen nesting in some of the cells and using the corpses as food. This places Audrey into an uncontrollable state of panic as she grabs Young Andrew and runs off back to Linda.

"Hey mister, had a pretty nasty fall didn't ya?" Tammy taunts as she stares down at Riggs as he begins to open his eyes from bed while she strokes his hair.

"You're fine now. We're all here. Just relax," Tammy adds with warmth in her eyes. Riggs, not realizing how to react at the moment, smiles back at her affirming his mutual affection for her. Tammy can dig it, as she begins grinning.

"Andrew! Where the hell are you at!" Riggs yells from his bed with his eyes closed.

"I'm right here you hard headed son of a bitch. You calm down yet?" Andrew sarcastically asks from his bed. Linda smiles as she been doing a lot lately.

"Piss off. I'm always calm. Okay, maybe not that time. I'm fine now," Riggs adds.

"Well that's good. Now maybe we'll all live a little bit longer, what you think?" Andrew jokingly suggests.

"Sounds like a plan," Riggs responds in a low tired tone of voice.

That is when Audrey comes storming into the room with Young Andrew by her side with tears in her eyes. Everyone rises up and draws attention towards her.

Once the rest of the group inspects the restricted cell blocks, they instantly head back to their living quarters in order to grab up their personal arsenal and quickly arm themselves. When Riggs enters his cell and goes below his bunk to pull out the duffle bag, to his dismay, he realizes there is nothing there. Aaron's men obviously confiscated them. Whenever they did is unknown to him.

As a result, Riggs and the rest of the group have a quick meeting in order to figure out what should be done from here.

Audrey believes they aren't normal people at all. She thinks they are the actual prisoners who took over and killed the staff. Dwayne believes they just execute who ever crosses them and doesn't play ball.

"Those bastards took my pistol too. I want it back!" an angered Riggs adds.

Linda decides to weigh in, as everyone gives her their undivided attention as they normally do for her, "They all knew about it. Everyone here did. We can't stay here any longer."

Many others, dropped their theories, however, one question still remained ever important. How will they react when they are confronted with it? Dwayne and Tammy desperately attempts to convince Riggs to just leave now, with whatever they have. A stubborn Riggs, refuses to leave without his guns and to settle the looming question as to who they really are.

"Jesus Christ man, we are dealing with a bunch of murderers here! Executioners," a frieghtened Randall adds.

Lance chimes in, "Yeah, I mean, how do you think a bunch of murderers will react when you accuse them of murder?"

Everyone appears even more freightened than they were last time. Tabatha, along with everyone else, just wants to leave at this point. The only one who completely agrees with Riggs is Andrew.

"We need to get our weapons back and find out why they killed those people. We can not let this bullshit fly," Andrew confidently states in anger.

Riggs looks at Andrew for a moment.

"You with me?"

"Hell yeah i'm with you. Let's go," Andrew boldly states.

Both of them rise up and walk off together.

"Oh no, somebody stop them now! Don't do anything stupid!" a concerned Linda yells to them as they walk off. The rest of them remain in the cell looking puzzled and afraid of action.

"They are crazy!" Randall claims. Cynthia stares him down as if he were a coward.

The pair march down to Aaron's office while coaching eachother's strategies on how to approach the confrontation. Riggs and Andrew are both ready for a fight at this point and will not back down. They do not intend on leaving Aaron's office empty handed.

As they walk down the corriders, some of Aaron's men approach the pair attempting to stop them and asking them what they need. Riggs and Andrew ignores them as they proceed to the steps of Aaron's office.

One of the men attempt to place his hand on Rigg's shoulder in a bid to stop him when Riggs quickly turns around and knocks the man in his temple with a right hook, instantly dropping him to the floor. The rest of the guards pull out their pistols from their leg holsters and draw them on the pair as Riggs belligerently slams Aaron's office door open.

Aaron is there sitting as his desk calmly while two guards stand behind him with black beanies on welding shotguns.

"Did I invite you?" Aaron asks in anger.

"No you didn't, but we are going to talk anyway!" Riggs aggresively responds as him and Andrew pull up chairs to the front of his desk. The guards from outside Aaron's door walk into Aaron's office with their weapons still drawn on Riggs and Andrew from behind.

Aaron places his hand up signaling them to go back outside. The men follow suite.

"How can I help you boys?" Aaron sarcastically asks.

"First of all, fuck you for leaving us and your men back there. We thought we knew what type of treacherous, unreliable assholes you guys were, but today we are clueless," Riggs states.

"What ever do you mean, Mr. Air Marshall?" Aaron questions with more sarcasm.

His guards grow anxious to attack Andrew and Riggs as they stare them down and position themselves in an aggresive posture, just waiting for Aaron to give them the go ahead to assault.

"Those bodies on the lower levels. The ones whom have been executed. Why did you do it? Are you all really the prisoners?" Andrew interrogates.

Aaron starts to bust out laughing. His guards are now laughing as well.

"Shut the hell up! Where's our guns too? You stole them from us! We want them back so we can leave!" Riggs orders.

Aaron begins clapping, obviously taunting the two. Riggs rises up from his chair as if he were going to attack Aaron when both of his guards point their shotguns at him. Riggs pauses instantly in his stance.

"You and your friends will be going no where. Sorry to break it to you," Aaron calmly informs.

"What the hell are you talking about, you sick bastard?" Andrew adds with contempt.

Aaron begins to explain himself further, "Those 'people' you talk about down there on the lower levels, most of them were prisoners we found still locked up in their quarters when we took over. We didn't know what they were capable of and most of all we couldn't trust them. Of course all of them claimed they were innocent, but the risk out weighed the good intentions. We decided not to take a chance with any of them."

Andrew and Riggs stare on in disgust.

"You are sick man," Riggs states.

"Think what you will. This isn't a time for good will and humanity. Right now as we speak, the dead amass along our walls. I ordered my men to hold fire and conserve their ammo. Blood thirsty killers surround us as we speak," Aaron goes on to explain.

"It's all about survival right now. Some of our people didn't agree with my decision and decided to cause problems. Luckily, I was fortunate enough to have enough reasonable men around me to see beyond the cruelty and realize what I was doing was for the benefit of the group as a whole. We had to dispose of the ones who opposed as well. Oh, also one more thing that I forgot to mention. There are many members of The Death's Head down there as well whom were serving out life sentences. Mainly the majority of their leadership," Aaron continues.

Andrew and Riggs stays silent realizing the entire picture unfolding before their eyes.

Aaron now begins laughing once again, then goes on to add, "They didn't take it so well when they found out what we did to their friends when they came looking for them once all hell broke loose."

The pair are now apalled.

"You are the one who started all this craziness with them. Now we are caught up in the middle," Riggs says as he glares into Aaron's eyes.

"I suppose so. However, I am going to fix it," Aaron declares.

"Yeah whatever, Aaron. We want out. We are leaving right now!" Andrew yells from his seat.

"If you two attempt to step out that door we will shoot you both where you stand," he warns.

Riggs and Andrew sit there with cold stares unphased by Aaron's threats.

"Your women are mine. We are going to work out a deal with The Death's Head so this bloody war stops. We're also going to throw in Teresa so we meet Trim Vain's quota. Your child will become Amy's brother. Your weapons are mine too. As for the rest of you, well, I guess ya'll just be hanging out for awhile in your quarters until I can find a use for you or until I feel like throwing you in Cell Block C," Aaron concludes.

"Teresa? Who?" Riggs asks with a confused face.

That is when without warning, Andrew rises up to attack Aaron as Riggs jumps across the desk to pull him inward. Aaron's guards quickly intervene and butt strokes Riggs and Andrew across their heads with their shotguns. Andrew is knocked out instantly, while Riggs is dazed as he stumbles around attempting to stand up off the floor. The guard finishes him off from behind with another blow to the back of the head, in effect putting him out instantly.

Some time goes by until Riggs is awakened by Andrew slightly slapping him across the face while he lies back first on a mattress.

"Wake up Riggs. Come on, snap out of it," Andrew encourages.

"Uh, my head. Hurts like hell," Riggs describes as he comes to and slowly rises up from the bed. Andrew can feel his pain as well, for they have been unconcious for a few hours.

Riggs awakes to the surrounding eyes of all the members of the group, with the exception of Young Andrew, Cynthia and Randall.

"Where's the boy? Why is everyone hanging out around me?" Riggs curiously asks in confusion.

The women are now crying. Some of the men are attempting to comfort them, however, with little to no success. Dwayne informs Riggs of the situation with dread as he quickly darts up from his bunk and attempts to slide open the cage without success.

"So they locked us all in here? Where the hell are the others?" Riggs angrily asks.

"Randall joined them. So did Cynthia. The boy was forced to go with Amy. They came in here with their weapons drawn on us and asked who wanted to join them. Of course, it's obvious who wanted to," Dwayne explains further.

"That scum bag. First chance I get, his ass is mine," Riggs declares referring to Randall.

"With Cynthia, well, guess I could of saw that one coming," Andrew adds as he takes a seat on the cold hard pavement and leans his back up against the solid wall.

"Screw her!" adds Riggs.

"Did you tell him the rest of it, Dwayne?" a saddened Linda asks. Dwayne stares on in silence.

"What?" Riggs orders.

"Once Aaron's boys rounded us all up and locked us in here, they told us the women would be offered over to the bikers and the men will be shot some time this week," Lance adds in intense dread and anger as he tries to comfort Tabatha in his arms as she begins crying relentlessly.

The news did not startle Andrew and Riggs, for they already figured that much at this point. Now coming to a realization, Riggs places his head down as emotions overwhelm him.

"I want to thank all of you for not abandoning me and Andrew. All of you are true friends," Riggs confesses. Nobody says a word in response because their eyes said enough.

Riggs takes a few minutes to gather himself.

Moments later, he tries to keep the group's hopes up by desperately trying to devise an escape plan. However, failing miserably, many of them realized it was just to keep their minds occupied in order to avoid the inevitable.

Linda began opening prayer sessions with some members of the group and invited them all to join. Only a few joined in, however, as the days went on without given any food or water, almost all of them were now praying with her in a desperate attempt to make their last peace. It even got to the point of where Tabatha stopped crying as she accepted Lance's and her own fate. She just wanted to enjoy the rest of the time she had with him.

Even Andrew and Audrey began cuddling up next to eachother, resting in eachother's arms. Tammy saw this and decided to crawl over to Riggs as she grew weaker and couldn't bring herself to stand. Riggs accepted her into his arms as he leaned up against the wall attempting to conserve his remaining energy.

The guards which stood watch constantly mocked them and even urinated into their cell numerous times. Disgusted as Riggs and Andrew were, they attempted to attack the men numerous times from the other side of the bars and were only met by cattle pronges shocking them to their knees through the gaps.

One night, one of the more friendly guards, was on watch in his chair looking into their cell. When everyone inside was asleep, with the exception of Andrew, who had his arms wrapped around Audrey and lost in his own thoughts of his brother, noticed Young Andrew walking in with Amy holding an entire loaf of bread and two large gallon water bottles.

The guard rose up from his seat and told them to leave, until Amy pleaded with the man. She told him they were her friends and just wanted to give them some food so they wouldn't die.

Once Amy told the man this, he quickly avoided eye contact with her as he already knew that their fates were sealed anyway.

As persistant as Amy was however, she offered the man a carton of Marlboro Reds, which ultimately sold him as he allowed the two to pass.

Andrew removes Audrey's arms and gently places her down on her back as he crawls up to the edge of the cell and pokes his head out towards Young Andrew and Amy.

"Hey soldier. Haven't seen you around in awhile. How you been?" he asks with a hoarse and tired voice.

"I'm alright. I miss you guys. Please hang in there. I am going to get you out of here, I promise!" Young Andrew vowes as he hands the loaf of bread and water to Andrew. Amy stares on in silence.

Andrew stares at the bread and water with widened eyes and thanks the young boy as he squeezes his shoulder displaying his affection towards the child.

As a result, Andrew holds back his tears.

"You're one tough soldier I tell you what. Now what you got to do, is soldier up and stay tough. Even without us. You got your whole life ahead of you and you better damn sure well make sure you value it. Now go on. Get out of here before you get in trouble," Andrew says attempting to value his last words to Young Andrew.

"I know you don't believe me, but you'll see," Young Andrew reiterates with confidence.

Andrew shakes his head in acceptance and rubs the top of the boy's head real fast in a playful demeanor. Amy takes the boy by the hand and walks off as Young Andrew looks back to his hero with tears in his eyes.

Andrew feels his eyes become watery as he continues to prevent himself from crying and sobbing as he places his head down to gather his bearing. Once he is able, he turns around to wake up the rest of the group to share the food and water.

Once the loaf is depleted and the last drop of water is consumed, they all return back to their corners with their company in arms. A lonely Linda, distraught over missing Young Andrew's visit, curls up to Dwayne out of friendship and the looming fear of possible death. She laid her head on his shoulder as she began to cry.

As dawn loomed, Riggs and the rest of the group remained asleep as rays of sunlight broke through the cracks of the walls and through the windows into their cage. All is quiet until the sounds of automatic gunfire erupting suddenly awakens them from a dead sleep. Shortly followed by the sound of a large vehicle knocking down the front gate or one of the walls on the perimeter as chunks of concrete are heard seperating in multiple directions. More gunfire can be heard followed by the sounds of roaring engines and motors all around the perimeter. Moments later, screams can be heard coming from inside the prison as the alarm is sounded. Even the guard in front of their cell takes off out of sight.

Everyone who is confined, quickly stands up and begins pacing around and trying to poke their heads through the bars in order to find out what is happening. The sounds of gunfire grow more frequent and violent as it appears the whole prison is in a call to arms.

A few minutes go by until the area sounds like a complete war zone. Screams, automatic fire, shotguns, a few explosions on the perimeter can be heard as Riggs and the rest of the group feel helpless and desperately attempt to yell out to be released.

While they hear the chaos ensue from their confined space, a few men with tactical vests run past their cell in a dead sprint holding assault rifles with their barrels pointed into the air. The situation seems so serious at this point, Riggs goes as far as to say that the whole establishment is being over ran.

Twenty minutes go by as there is no end in sight. The gunfire grows ever closer towards them from inside the prison. The loud echos of weapons being expended in the general area inside the compound grow more deafening by the minute.

Linda instantly panics while worrying about the where abouts and safety of Young Andrew.

"He needs me out there! He's all alone! For the love of god let us out of here!" Linda frantically yells out into the hallway. Nobody outside the cage can hear her.

At that point, moans are heard off into the distance. The group realizes whatever just came into the compound, possibily the bikers, something else was let in as well. All of them realize it at this point as the gunfire, the screams and the moans grow ever closer.

Riggs and Andrew decide to take a seat beside eachother and allow the situation to unfold. They realize that they are helpless at this point.

"You can't give up! Stand up and help me!" Linda desperately cries out to the pair as she continues to shake the bars and scream to the top of her lungs. Lance, Tabatha, Audrey, Dwayne and Tammy decide to follow Riggs and Andrew's path as well as they take a seat on the floor and await whatever is coming in ease.

That is when Amy and Young Andrew are seen sprinting up to the doorway and into the hallway. Young Andrew is in the lead as he holds a large set of keys on a giant metallic ring. Amy is right behind him.

Linda is the first to notice him and calls out his name. Everyone else inside the cell, whom are startled by what Linda called out, quickly stand up on their feet.

"We got the keys! We got the keys!" Young Andrew yells at the top of the lungs with anticipation and excitement as he approaches the lock to the sliding door. Everyone else inside quickly runs up to the bars and begin welcoming him back.

Young Andrew quickly flips through the keys as he places them into the lock one by one attempting to open the door. Everyone else encourages him on to move quicker as time is running out.

Andrew looks at Amy from inside his cell for a moment.

"How did you two get these?" he curiously asks, while anxious to be released.

"I stole it from my father's office. These keys are to all the cells, including the vehicles in the motorpool," Amy informs with a sense of pride on her face.

Rigg's eyes, along with everyone else's light up with hope. Riggs tells them, as soon as the gate is open, that they are headed in the opposite direction of the battle and will escape out the back side to enter the motorpool. Once they do this, they will steal one of the parked vehicles and attempt an escape.

Everyone is on board as they anxiously tell Young Andrew to hurry up. Right as he is still going down the line trying one key after another, Amy remains still, with widened eyes as she looks down the hallway into the direction of the main door.

Nobody notices her change in facial expression as they are too focused on trying the keys to open the door. That is when a loud and thunderous voice can be heard from down the hallway.

"Amy! What the hell do you think you are doing!" the man from down the hallway exclaims in a furious tone of voice. Everyone stops in dead silence.

Young Andrew looks down the hallway, then turns back to the keys and picks up the pace trying to unlock the door.

Amy now begins crying and sobbing.

"I am sorry daddy, I didn't mean too. Please don't hurt me!" Amy pleads as she is drawn to her knees. Young Andrew is still attempting to open the door while ignoring the unfolding situation beside him.

At that point, Riggs and Andrew realize who it is. Aaron is seen, in his black fatigues with his tactical vest, welding an AK-47 as he draws it on his daughter as he slowly walks forward. He is bloodied and seems disoriented.

"You little whore! You are just like your mother, an unreliable traitor! A liar! A sneak!" Aaron continues to yell on as he approaches her closer and closer with each passing step. Her sobs grow louder as a result. Her face leans closer into the ground in shame as he approaches.

"You've betrayed me!" Aaron continues in a fit of rage.

Andrew along with the others begins yelling at him to put the weapon down. Riggs, realizing Aaron came back here to kill them, is the only one to notice the boy finding the right key at the last second. As a result, the locking mechanism pops free as Riggs doesn't waste any time to push forward and break through the breach.

That is when Aaron pulls the trigger. He shoots Amy three times execution style as she knelt on the ground crying and attempting to apologize to her supposed step-father. Amy's lifeless body falls flat onto the pavement as she ceases to move.

Aaron stands over her in disbelief at what he has just done.

Once the shots were heard right behind Young Andrew, he quickly falls sideways attempting to avoid the intensity of the nearby rounds ripping into his friend Amy.

That is when Riggs charges out of the doorway the boy had just unlocked for him a second ago and tackles Aaron to the ground in a dead sprint as Aaron attempted to point his rifle towards the others in order to finish them off.

The AK-47 falls to the ground out of reach of a murderous Aaron. Riggs acts on the oppurtunity as he is on top of Aaron and begins pummeling his face in with fist after fist of striking blows to the face and head. Everyone else screams in horror as they run out of the cell. Andrew instantly goes for the rifle and picks it up as he sets up a defensive posture on Aaron who is being brutally beaten to a bloody pulp by a furious Riggs.

Once Riggs is finished, he stands up over Aaron with him between his legs.

"You son of a bitch. I'm going to kill you!" Riggs yells in pure hatred. He then proceeds to stomp his face in with his boot. Andrew jumps in and begins beaten him in the torso with his rifle as Dwayne and Lance come running up and begin taking turns kicking in Aaron's head into the pavement.

After each striking blow by the group of men, Aaron grows less and less in tune with his surroundings as he begins to drift into nothingness as he stares up at the ceiling beside his daughter who lies in a pool of blood as a result of his action.

Once the men calm down and cease to strike him, Riggs walks off swearing in frustration at witnessing Amy's murder. Andrew, without saying a word, stands erect over Aaron as he places the barrel of his own rifle up to the center of his forehead and pulls the trigger. Brain matter and blood splashes in every direction peppering Linda and a nearby Tammy on their shirts as they watch in horror.

Young Andrew, after witnessing what just happened to his friend and the girl who possibily saved them all, runs up to a lifeless Amy as she lays face first into the pavement.

Tears runs down his eyes as his little face grows beet red. He begins sobbing over her body as Andrew and Linda pull him away.

"Come on! We have to go! We have to go now!" Yells Andrew as the gunfire becomes even closer at this point.

"No! No! We can't leave her like this!" Young Andrew screams, kicks and bites Andrew as the boy is dragged down the corridor to safety by Andrew.

Once Linda has control of him, Andrew runs back to Aaron's body and takes the remaining magazines he has out of his tactical pouches on his vest. Andrew uncomfortably stuffs four banana clips into his pockets and turns around to catch up with the group which has already taken off in a dead sprint.

As they run down the corridor which leads to the cafeteria, they come across multiple four way intersections. As they run by them, they can see a good distance down the hall from either side as they see stumbling assailants whom appear to have already reached the state of rigor mortis.

Once they all make it into the cafeteria, the group notices a group of three bikers in the middle of the food court hiding behind concrete pillars firing off their weapons towards the upper level balconies which overwatch the food court. Members of the prison are locked into heated battle with The Death's Head over the right to the facility.

It is clear to the group now as they stop dead in their tracks and flank around the ensueing firefight behind serving stations as they use it for cover to move by the engaged individuals. All of them stay low as they quickly move into the kitchen where they notice multiple afflicted women feasting on what Linda believed to be Teresa, the woman she spoke with earlier, whom is being eaten alive as she screams at the top of her lungs attempting to escape her attackers. The dead rip into the flesh of our thighs and work their way up as she punches them, kicks them and scratches them. Welding in no results.

Teresa notices Linda sneak by her as they exchange eye contact. She puts up her hand and reaches to her for help as Linda quickly turns away and keeps moving with the rest of the group who attempts to go out the back entrance unseen.

Once they reach the exit door and run down the fire escape steps, a full on firefight can be seen in the courtyard as members of The Death's Head and Aaron's men hide behind concrete serpentine barriers for cover and exchange heavy volleys of automatic and semi-automatic fire.

Riggs yells at them to keep moving as they hit the pavement and begin following the brick wall to the motorpool as they stay low and Andrew maintains lead with his rifle up. They move a good few hundred meters unnoticed until Andrew has to turn an unseen corner outside the wall which ultimately leads towards the motorpool as Riggs quickly attempts to identify a vehicle key while on the move.

Andrew puts up his open hand signal for halt as Riggs notices what he means. He quickly stops the group dead in it's tracks behind Andrew as the only man with the rifle begins pyeing the corner of the wall slowly as he looks down his iron sights, awaiting to engage anything that is a threat.

As Andrew side steps and more of the corner is revealed, he notices Cynthia and Randall laid on their backs in the grass placing their hands up signaling the bikers standing over them to stop what they are doing once Andrew has complete view of what is now on the other side.

Two bikers stand over Cynthia and Randall while pointing their pistols at them. Andrew realizes they are about to shoot Cynthia and Randall as they beg and sob for their lives.

At that moment, the bikers quickly notice Andrew's presence and turn their attention to him, quickly drawing their weapons in his direction.

Andrew quickly fires two rounds of 7.62mm munition into each man starting from right to left, instantly dropping them as he scores two hits in the center of the chest per man. A terrified Cynthia and Randall look up behind them and notice Andrew standing there lowering his rifle. He stares at them with contempt and moves on past their direction attempting to make it to the motorpool to hitch a ride.

As Riggs pass them by he spits on Randall's face as he still lies there in shock of almost being executed. The rest of the group passes the traitors by in silence as if they didn't even know them.

Cynthia and Randall stare at eachother for a moment. Both of them rise up without question and follow the rest of the group from behind like ducklings following their mother duck.

As the group pushes forward, still remaining unnoticed, they realize the area that they need to cross is blocked off by a dump truck which taken out the front gate and has been smashed into the main entrance wing of the prison, in effect, leaving a large gapping hole in it's side for anyone to enter. More bikers are seen storming in from a distance on their motorcycles with weapons drawn between their ape hangers. In addition, mobs of dead assailants begin flooding in from behind.

Riggs and Andrew realize this isn't good for they have been cut off. As the group is at a short hold and remains low to the ground in order not to draw attention to themselves, Dwayne notices an access door not too far from him. He tops Andrew on the shoulder signaling him to follow as Dwayne takes off an kicks in the door entering one of the maintenance rooms of the prison.

They quickly move across and into a stairwell which only goes upward. Bodies are littered up and down the stairwell as Linda closes Young Andrew's eyes with her hand preventing him from seeing the bullet riddled bodies as they ascend the stair case.

Upon going three stories up the staircase and passing over a dozen corpses, they come across a loan steel door with no apparent locking mechanism on it. Andrew pushes to the front of the group as he resides near the back. Once located to the front of the door, he places his index finger up in the air so everyone can see, indicating everyone to be silent as he slowly cracks open the door with his barrel pointed out while scanning for potential threats.

Once he realizes that the coast is clear, he opens up the door and signals the rest behind him to move forward as they follow him shaken and fearful, with the exception Riggs of course who only wishes he had a fire arm on him at this point.

As the group breaks the threshold, they notice that they are now in one of the common areas of cell block A. Multiple levels of cell blocks, which holds the remnants of people's families such as dressers with toys on top of them and painted walls, appear ever present as the survivors move forward upon the third level while watching down to the lobby on the look out for any threats. Nothing of danger is in sight as bodies can be seen laying in peace scattered throughout the lower levels.

As they push forward to the staircase which brings them down to the lobby and which ultimately leads them to the exit where the motorpool resides, Lance and Tabatha, whom reside in the very back of the group, notice out of the corner of their eyes a large horde of undead fast approach them in a dead sprint out of the corner of their eyes as they pass a connecting hallway which is located at the top level adjacened to the stairwell the group descends.

Tabatha and Lance frantically call out to the group in horror as they yell for them to pick up the pace. Everyone in the front quickly turns around as a reflex to the warning and notices the assailants sprinting towards Lance and Tabatha as they despertely try to push the people in front of them forward so they can escape.

Once the rest realize what was happening, they take off running down the staircase. Tabatha and Lance pick up the pace as the dead behind them quickly gain ground,

Upon reaching the bottom lobby level, Andrew kicks open the door leading to the motorpool and sprints to the first SUV he sees. Everyone else files in behind Andrew in panic as a result of their pursuers.

At that point, a break in the group occurs when Tabatha, whom is located at the very last of the group, trips and sprains her ankle on the very last step of the staircase. As a result, she falls face first on to the cold hard pavement of the lower level lobby area. Now inoperable and unable to stand up on her own, while laying flat on her stomach, she looks back to see the hungry mob frantically run down the circular constructed stairs as they grow ever close to their meal. Tabatha can see them hissing and foaming from the mouth as they lay eyes upon her and draw ever nearer.

At that moment, none of the members of the group notice for they are already breaking into a get away vehicle. The closest ones left near a now dreadful Tabatha is her fiance, Lance and good friend Linda.

Tabatha looks back to Lance, who is already at the edge of the doorway about to break through into the sunlight as she screams his name at the top of her lungs with tears in her eyes.

"LANCE! HELP ME!" she cries in fear as she calls out to the father of her baby.

Lance stops at the edge of the door and notices the mob fast approaching his fiance from behind. He stares at her for a few seconds, obviously torn apart on what to do at this moment, he hesitates.

That is when he turns his back to Tabatha and runs outside while Tabatha screams his name with hopelessness. Eventually, her screams are drowned out by the moans and cries of the mob which quickly consume her until the voice of Tabatha can no longer be heard. Lance continues running as tears drip down his eyes.

As he runs up to the vehicle which the rest of the group are now sitting in, he notices Linda staring at him with a cold stoic stare. She realized what he has done and he knows it.

Lance avoids eye contact with her as she stands by the edge of the vehicle now staring Lance down.

Andrew, Riggs and the rest begin yelling at them.

"Hop your asses in the back now! Let's get the hell out of here!" Riggs yells from the passenger side of the Ford F-150 with a 4-door cab. Lance and Linda hop in the back quickly attempting to squeeze into an already packed vehicle.

Andrew peels out as his AK-47 sits in between him and Riggs as they make their way to the gate at a high rate of speed running over multiple hungry assailants as they sprint towards their moving vehicle moaning and hissing.

The truck jumps up as if it just went over a series of multiple speed bumps. Riggs realizes now at this point, all of the bikers are inside the prison attempting to over run it as he notices their bikes are parked outside staggered through the court yard with nobody on them. It appears the group is in the clear and has escaped without being noticed.

As Andrew floors it out the straight away leading out the gate, Dwayne reminds him of the tire spike up ahead. Andrew quickly reacts and takes the truck onto the grass avoiding the obstacle with ease.

Once they hit the main road the coast is clear. Riggs, along with Dwayne and the rest begin cheering.

"We fucking did it! We made it!" Riggs boasts as he begins punching in the dash board in celeberation. Lance leans up to the glass of the back door window as silent tears drip down his face, realizing that he left his fiance for dead.

Linda, holds Young Andrew in her arms as he frantically cries and sobs into her chest. She strokes his hair in order to relax him and help him forget about Amy's tragic murder.

Once the yelling ceases, Tammy and Audrey both make an observation.

"Where is Tabatha?" Audrey curiously asks the group. Tammy also asks the same question with the exact same words used by Audrey.

Everyone looks around in the cab in horror. Riggs, realizing she got left, tells Andrew to turn the vehicle around. Without question, Andrew slows down as he goes to make a U-turn until Linda orders him to stop.

With contempt and fire in her eyes, she stares at Lance and makes a statement, "Lance left her for the dead. She is gone."

Tears begin running down Linda's eyes. Then shortly after, she goes on to add, "The worst part of it all, not only did Lance leave his fiance, he also left his unborn child."

Andrew now stops the vehicle to a screeching halt. Andrew and Riggs looks back to Lance as everyone else in the back does the same.

Lance remains stoic and void of emotion. The only indictator of remorse and sadness that can be seen are the constant flowing tears which runs down his flush facial features. He continues to stare outside the window without addressing or looking at anyone.

Riggs, could not bring himself to say a word. Neither can anyone else.

Andrew decides to resume moving as everyone stays silent in the cab. The only sounds which can be heard at this point are the cries and whimpering of Young Andrew.

CHAPTER 6 ONE PERCENT CONT....

Postby NiGHTMARE-Z » Tue Mar 20, 2012 3:02 pm

Some time on the road goes by. Andrew is anxious to make it to the Fort Hood area and finally find his sister in-law, his nieces and nephew. He is immensly worried about them. His promise to Trevor still stands as he is still fully able as ever to fulfill it. Nothing will get in his way at this point he concludes as he reaches a hypnotic state as he stares at the road in front of him. The thought of Tabatha being eaten alive and also, secretly pregnant without Lance realizing it, completely broken his heart. The foundation and importance of family has never been as strong before in his heart until realizing now just how vunerable it is. He will stop at nothing in order to make it to them now.

Nobody has seemed to pursue their vehicle as the members of the group are able to relax and calm down. Andrew, as well as some others, needed to take a quick bathroom break. Andrew spots an abandoned gas station along side the road as he notices food and various other items stocked up on the shelves inside as he slows down and looks into the window from the driver's seat.

He suddenly turns off and parks the truck on the side of the building so everybody can hop out and stretch their legs. Andrew leaves the assault rifle with Riggs, who keeps watch from inside the truck as he walks up to a male bathroom door located outside on the side of the building. Andrew opens the door slowly to inspect what is inside before stepping in. Realizing it is clear, he walks in to do his business.

Cynthia, whom walks to the edge of the woodline by herself, is followed by Linda, Audrey and Tammy. Now appearing irritated, Cynthia quickly turns around as if being annoyed by the women's close presence behind her.

"What do you want!" she suddenly screams.

"We need to have a talk," Linda declares.

"I got nothing to say to you people!" Cynthia responds.

"Well we think you do. How about explaining why you left us back there?" Tammy adds with sarcasm.

Audrey chimes in as well, "You got a lot of explaining to do girl if you want to make things right with us!"

Cynthia rolls her eyes in contempt carelessly.

Linda doesn't let up as she grabs Cynthia's shoulder as she attempts to ignore and turns her back to them. Cynthia quickly shrugs her arm up, violently releasing Linda's grip and turns around to slap Linda across the face ferociously.

"I lost my family! What do I care what you think of me!" Cynthia yells into Linda's face.

Linda raises her hand up in the air and slaps her back across the face, instantly dropping her to the ground.

A shocked Cynthia, now on her back, looks up Linda in fear of being hit again.

"We are your god damn family now! Get over it!" Linda furiously declares as she walks away from Cynthia leaving her on the ground.

Tammy and Audrey stare at Linda as she walks off towards the front of the gas station store.

Dwayne, Lance, Randall and Riggs watch the altercation unfold from the cab of the vehicle as they lean out with their doors open. At that point, Randall makes a sarcastic statement.

"Looks like the power squad is back in charge," exclaims Randall.

A disgusted Lance silently walks off into the female bathroom, attempting to avoid Andrew who is in the male stall.

As a result of Randall's comment, Rigg's eye brows shoot up as he snaps his head back towards Dwayne. The pair stare at each other for a moment, obviously syncing there thoughts for that split second.

Seconds later, Dwayne grabs Randall by the back of the neck and shoves him outside the cab of the truck as Randall lands violently on his chest. Riggs hops out of his seat and begins violently stomping on a screaming and begging Randall. Dwayne proceeds to assist Riggs. Audrey, Tammy and Cynthia look on in horror as Dwayne and Riggs continue to violently trade off kicking a still stationary Randall on the ground as he attempts to curl up in the fetal position to protect himself.

As this goes on for a full minute, a loud and thunderous gunshot is heard. Riggs and Dwayne stop what they are doing as they look back towards the bathroom stalls.

They quickly sprint up to the men's bathroom and check on Andrew, as he sits on the toilet with his pants down holding tissue paper in hand with widened eyes.

Realizing Andrew is okay, Dwayne and Riggs turns around to run back outside to check the female bathroom.

Once they enter, they can see Lance laying on the ground with his back slouched up against the wall with a chrome .38 smith and wesson revolver sticking out of his mouth. His firing hand is still emplaced as it sags down from his jaw hanging by the front sight post of the pistol up against his bottom front teeth. Riggs knew nothing about Lance posessing a firearm. He figured he secretly pulled it off one of the corpses on the way out of the prison.

Splattered blood stains the walls behind Lance's head as a gapping hole tore out a piece of his upper forehead where the bullet cleaned straight through.

Lance was gone and there was nothing they could do about it. Dwayne backs out of the bathroom slowly. Once he is outside, he begins puking onto the pavement.

Riggs stands there and stares at the kid with pity and remorse. Once he works up the courage to approach Lance's body, he takes a knee and pulls the gun out of his mouth. He then proceeds to place his hand over Lance's as he lowers his head in silence and says his good byes to the tormented teenager.

For the first time since this NiGHTMARE started, tears of sorrow run down his eyes as everything has finally caught up to him.

CHAPTER 7 OCCUPIED

CHAPTER 7
Occupied

The flight is endless. Many attempt to get some much needed rest, only to become twarted by the screaming sounds of soldiers with bullet wounds and lacerations to their torsos as a handful of medics and CLS(combat life saver) certified Air Force guards attempt to prevent them from going into shock and stop their bleeding. Three of the afflicted have already passed on as a result of their wounds in the middle of the walk way during treatment.

World Airways complimentry blankets for passengers were placed over them to cover the bodies as they were dragged into the back of the plane where no one resided. That is where they decided to place the dead as their final resting ground.

Trevor and the rest of his men were seated near eachother as they desperately attempted to sleep. Many of them tossed and turned and couldn't keep the horror out of their mind in order to relax. Price continued to complain about the vivid images in his head of rotting corpses and shooting attackers off the truck with crew served weapons point blank as they were in reaching distance to grab him. As a result, Price could not keep his eyes closed for more than twenty seconds at any given time.

After narrowly escaping Iraq and Kuwait, however, some what of hope fills all of the soldier's hearts. A underlining hope which has not been deminished yet. It still sits there lingering as they clinge on to it for survival. Hunter has not said a word since they escaped 'The Highway of Death', as many of them keep talking about their fallen soldier.

Hunter remains stoic and void of all social interaction between everybody. He also begins to grow paranoid each passing minute every time Price looks in his direction. Other members of his squad just believe that Gilroy's death affected him greatly, which may be true in a way.

With deep regret, Trevor feels ultimately responsible for losing him. He was his responsibility. Trevor has never left a soldier behind, until now. Regardless of the circumstances, the point remained. He still attempts to cope with it in his seat as he is located right next to Christopher, his team leader and friend.

After many passing failed sleep attempts, both Trevor and Christopher resorted to conversation amongst eachother. It first started with reflection, then led into something more. Both of them found it mutually theraputic reminicsing over the events which have transpired over the pass few days.

Reagal can be seen slouched into his seat attempting to cover his ears from the moans of the wounded soldiers. Jokeless as he was, even Reagal has no room for humour at this point. Price usually depends on Reagal to set the mood and cheer him up in desperate situations, even now. Coming to the realization that the group is safe for now, Price still impatiently awaits Reagal to emit a sarcastic funny comment to lift his spirits.

Ringo is the only one who is fast asleep. He wasted no time either. Not even what happened nor the grim sounds coming from inside the plan, hampered his ability to get some much needed rest.

"That sick bastard is sleeping like a baby!" Reagal repeated multiple times as he raised up from his seat and addressed members of his squad behind him.

"I'm jealous," he adds.

Price did not find it that funny, but decided it would do for now.

"I miss Gilroy. I know the guy wasn't that dependable, but he didn't deserve the card he got delt. He was to young to leave us," Trevor admits to Christopher.

"You are right. He was a good person. He wasn't ready for the horrors of this new reality. I hope he is in a better place. I should of treated him better," Christopher admits.

"Same here," Trevor concludes.

He then goes on to add, still unable to take his mind off his fallen man, "I wish we didn't isolate him from the rest of us as much as we did. Sure he was different, but he was one of ours. He was our brother!"

Trevor begins sobbing while attempting to hide it from the rest of his men whom are located nearby in their seats. Hunter over hears the entire conversation as he places his head down in silence.

Christopher places his hand on Trevor's shoulder in order to comfort him.

"We did all that we could. We have to move on and survive. It is what he would have wanted us to do. We need to get these men home. We also need to get you back to your wife and kids," Christopher states.

"We have to get you back to your wife and children as well. They need their father," Trevor says to Christopher as he leans forward with his head down resting on both of his hands.

Sadness looms over Christopher's face when Trevor mentioned his family. Christopher misses them dearly and is deathly worried about them.

"Well, maybe none of this madness spreaded to the states. I am sure everything is calm and safe over there. I am sure that they are fine," Christopher reasons.

"Oh my god, Andrew. My brother is over there. I wonder if he knows what is going on here. He probably thinks that I am dead," Trevor realizes.

Christopher attempts to comfort him by staying positive.

"Your brother is a tough kid. You remember, when he first came to the unit as a Private? I made his sarcastic ass do push ups until his muscles turned into swissed cheese. Still defiant as he was, he took it like a man and did the right thing. I couldn't hold him back for long. He's a natural born leader. I bet you he went right for Joanne and the kids upon getting word of this mess and is safely watching over them. I'm willing to put my life on it, Trev," Christopher explains with a sense of confidence and hope.

As a result, Christopher's words lifts Trevors spirit. Trevor can say nothing to that at this point.

"Thanks man. You are a true friend. Let the guys know later after they got some rest, we ain't losing anyone from here on out. I promise them that," Trevor declares.

Christopher acknowledges Trevor's instructions in a professional manner as his spirit is uplifted.

Reagal continues to roll over in his seat. After giving up on attempting to block out the noise of the plane, he notices his stomach beginning to gurgle. Over time it grows worse and to the point where he can no longer remain seated.

As a result, he reluctantly throws his blanket off his person and stands up.

"Man, I got to drop a major deuce," he announces to the rest of the group while attempting sarcastic humour.

Price sits there in silence as his thoughts run amuck. Trevor and Christopher stare on as they shake their heads.

"He's finally coming around," Price tells himself under his breath as he chuckles at the sight of Reagal wobbling to the front of the plane to use the lavatory while gripping his butt cheeks in hand.

Trevor and Christoper continue to converse amongst eachother as Reagal notices one of the lavatories is out of order. In addition, the door is sealed off. An eager Reagal turns around to head for the next one on the other side of the plane when he is pushed into a nearby wall by another passenger cutting him in line and deminishing his oppurtunity to relieve himself in a timely manner.

The soldier, who pushed him out of the way, displayed a sense of urgency as he appeared pale in the face and drenched in sweat. In addition, his loud obnoxious coughing grew louder and more violent as he rudely pushed Reagal out of the way.

"What the hell man!" Reagal yells to the soldier who slams the door behind him and locks it.

Reagal stares at the changing lit up sign on the lavatory door which just went from "vaccant" to "occupied" in a matter of seconds before his very eyes.

Price notices this from afar and begins chuckling louder. Reagal notices.

"Hey screw you man! How about I squat over you once you are asleep and make a fudge deposit in your mouth!" a frustrated Reagal threatens Price while jumping up and down and pacing back and forth as he is slouched over in front of the door.

Price now begins laughing even louder. Reagal just stares on in defiance.

Minutes go by while the soldier inside is heard vomitting and sobbing. Reagal begins banging on the door ordering the soldier to "hurry up".

His orders are met by unresponsiveness as the soldier continues to be heard puking. Moments later, the sounds stop as a loud thump is heard coming from the lavatory.

"Come on man! You know I got to go number two right? You better have not have puked all over the seat. If you did i'm going to make you clean it up!" Reagal warns.

More time passes as the line grows behind Reagal. At this point, nothing but silence can be heard coming from the occupied rest room. Reagal grows concerned.

"Hey man, are you alright? Say something!" Reagal orders.

No response.

More time passes by as people in the line begin complaining. Reagal now grows angry as Price watches on and is apparently being entertained by Reagal's akward plight.

"Okay asshole! I had enough! I got to take a major dump right now and you are totally pissing in my corn flakes! Get the hell out before I get you the hell out!" Reagal screams as he throws a punch into the center of the door.

Right at that moment, a loud scream is heard from the rest room. Grunting and groaning is followed by loud banging noises on the door coming from the other side.

Out of sheer terror, Reagal steps back in order to get his distance from the door as he bumps into the people behind him. Everyone watches on in terror behind Reagal as they realize the soldier who just went in there about a half an hour ago, obviously isn't the same person anymore.

They begin screaming and moving back to their seats to grab their weapons as they run back up to the doorway with it drawn while looking down the sights waiting for the former soldier to charge out to attack them.

One of the senior ranking Airmen on the plane, after observing the situation and hearing the awful sounds coming from the lavatory, sprint up to the armed military members and pushes their barrells down with his hand.

"You can't shoot off any rounds in here. You'll kill us all! Put the damn weapons down now!" the angered man orders.

Now coming to this realization, they place their weapons down and scatter in different directions in order to grab up anything they can in order to barricade the doorway.

"Hurry the hell up! Grab anything! We don't have much time before he slams his fists on the lock and comes storming out!" yells the man with a sense of urgency. Reagal moves back to his seat in a bide to stay out of the situation. Trevor along with the rest of his men stay seated.

Once Reagal goes back into his seat, Christopher leans over the seat in front of him to address a freightened Reagal.

"So, feel any better?" Christopher sarcastically asks while now displaying his own sick and twisted humour.

Reagal glares back up to him.

"Actually, yeah. Going to need new underwear though," a shocked Reagal declares.

Christopher gives him a blank stare and retreats back to his seat.

Price has now stopped laughing and stares on with widened eyes as he is in a state of shock.

"Did that just really happen?" he asks himself.

Moments later, he answers himself.

"Yes it did. I don't know if that is the most horrifying thing I have ever seen or the funniest thing that I have ever seen," Price decides.

After contemplating this, Price makes another attempt to sleep in a bide to escape reality for now. Sounds like a good deal he concludes.

Trevor watches on as a small group of Airmen and soldiers push large items up to the lavatory door. Once they have emplaced multiple push carts which holds food and drinks and some duffle bags and ruck sacks in front of the door, it cracks open as a hand sticks out from the crack of the entry way frantically reaching in multiple directions in a bide to latch on to it's potential prey. The sick individual continues to scream and moan as he reaches towards the Airmen on the other side.

As a result, the senior leader whom ordered the men and women to barricade the door, posts a guard shift to watch the sick man in case the barricade is compromised. He grabs one of his Airmen's M16 rifles and hands it yo the guard on watch as he extracts the magazine and pulls the bolt back to clear the weapon of a chambered round.

"Here, beat his skull in case he breaks free," the man orders.

The Airmen sits on the ground with his back to the wall staring towards the infected man and shakes his head in acceptance. The senior leader walks back to his seat apparently seeming upset as he glares at Trevor for a moment with terror and fear in his eyes.

Hours now go by as the men are able to rest and the sounds of the infected soldier cease from the lavatory. Even they give up, eventually, Trevor thought to himself as he was able to close his eyes to the sound of peaceful nothingness.

Trevor is now in a deep trance or state of slumber. He dreams of his family, outside on their porch in the country side as he watches his grand children play in the grass. He is an old man again and have lived a long and meaningful life with his family, just like he envisioned in his sleep so long ago when he had his brother in Iraq.

As peaceful as he was in his seat, eventually, abruptly ended when the sound of the pilot comes up on the intercom and addresses the passengers of the flight.

"Be advised, we will be landing momentarily. As you all know of the recent situation and disturbances that we've experienced in Kuwait, I think you are all entitled to be aware of the bad news myself and the remaining staff has just become aware of," the pilot addresses as his voice over powers the sound of static emitting from the speakers.

The pilot stays silent for a few seconds while keying the microphone. Eventually, he brings himself to explain.

"I regret to inform you that we have absolutely no contact with the towers or any agency on the ground in the vicinity of the landing zone. We have no option but to land because this plane can only go so far on the fuel it has. It is unknown what we will be subjected to upon contact with the tarmac. Please stay vigilent and confident as we will all get through this together. Thank you and god bless," the now fearful pilot states in a fearful voice and apparently short of breath.

Christopher looks at Trevor with worrisome eyes as the pair stay silent. That is when the plane begins it's path to landing.

Trevor now turns his head away from Christopher.

As the plane descends into Leipzieg Germany, Trevor stares outside the window once he raises up the window blocker. Now realizing it is day time here, he stares on into the country side as it grows ever closer to him as they come closer to landing.

Trevor notices how beautiful the country side appears to be. The grass is so tall and so green as the wind blows into it and makes it stray back and forth. It is a beautiful sight Trevor concludes as he continues to gaze out the window. At that moment, he begins thinking of his wife Joanne and their children they love so dearly. He also thinks of his brother, whom he misses so much and wonders if he will ever see again.

That is when he feels the wheels below the under belly deploy. The rough sounds and shakes of the plane makes it's first contact with the tarmac of Europe as he reaches down below his seat to pull out his locked and loaded M4 Carbine.

Trevor now places his rifle between his legs with the barrel pointed down and closes his eyes.

"Hey, Chris."

"Yeah?"

"Wake the guys up. Get them ready."

"Roger.......Sergeant."
