great aar.

Also, nobody has ever called you fat but YOU 8-) You moved faster than most of us also.

Pretty easy to spot that jacket downrange, seemed like a good idea to wear it to me.

Nice use of the video to emphasize the point.

Sounds like another excellent class and those were some great AAR's.

I especially like the various videos.

And, Braxton, in the videos I was thinking, "That Hi-viz yellow shirt. That's a great idea for a class like this. It's the "See Me! Don't Shoot me!" shirt." I'm actually going to pick up a couple before the next time I take a class like this. I can see the safety advantages over wearing camo or dark clothing in an intense, team oriented class like this.

I'm hoping to make this class next summer. Money has been really tight the last couple years with a bunch of unexpected, and expensive house and car repairs. (We're talking "I coulda bought another MG" expensive, but not quite to the "I gotta sell my MG now" expensive.

House clearing? You guys think you are the cops? There is no reason you as a civilian would ever need to clear a house.

Good point. I never want to clear a house. But some day you may be forced to. You wake up, and hear strange sounds from your 8 year old daughters room. You hear two men talking. You hear glass breaking. You gonna sit back and call 911? Let the pros deal with that? NO? Well then guess what. You just decided to clear a house. If only you had some training to fall back on...

Men and Women that are serious about protecting themselves and there loved ones. I hope I have influenced there decision.

And that Decision should be Milcopp. You will not get more training for the money.
Dead-fuckin-on, bro.

Those who are certain there is no reason to train shouldn't even be on this thread.

Those who want to train, but have a monetary excuse, should be doing dry-fire drills at home, like me.

Those that have the time, money, base skills and gear should train as highly as they can, as often as they can. When life suddenly tests you, it'll be too late to train. Last week we had a high-profile home invasion in my AO that made a lot of people nervous. It's not the first home invasion, mind you, just the first in a 'nice' area. The 'bad' areas have had them regularly for years, and I've cleared my house more times than I can count.

Besides that its roughly 600 miles from me and I can't set up before hand no. If someone local would be willing to do prep work I can get us on the schedule there.

Got a buddy in Holt, MO that has a private range with plenty of steel already hanging. Tagged you and Chad in a post on the KC Gun....page.

I stumbled across this today. It's a long read, but pretty interesting. Thought you guys - particularly the trainers - might appreciate it.

Sort of echoes Braxton's thoughts on the matter. Regardless, the message I take away is that any training is better than no training.

Read the whole thread...and not this summer, but next summer when y'all do this (with ZS members) I might try and go...ill try and get it as a graduation present or something. Now I just need to get a couple pistol/carbine courses under my belt to make sure I'm ready.

That's a lot of verbage.
