Is there a consensus on what ammo they don't like?

Not that I have heard of. It ate everything I fed it. But I only tried two types of Federal cheap bulk and Federal champion, aguila SubSonic 60g, and Remington Golden Bullets, and they all worked perfectly.

I purchased the M&P 22 today. I ran over 200 rounds through it. It perfomed flawlessly. I got it for $369 in Tupelo, Mississippi. Now I can practice all the time with the 22 instead of by M&P 40. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

I'm guessing there is now way to just swap the slides and do a conversion like say an advantage arms kit for glocks?

No slide kit. Everyone has been waiting on that forever, seems like buying the .22 is going to be the only option.

FIne with me though, I think I would rather have the dedicated .22 pistol.

Still in love with mine.
