I just bought a new .22 rifle.

The Savage FV-SR (stands for suppressor ready?) It is a Mark II bolt, with a free floated 16.5" fluted barrel, factory threaded for a suppressor, comes with 20MOA scope rail, Accu-trigger, tactical knob.

I just bought mine at CTD for $207. That seems like a lot of rifle for 2 bills. I looked it up and it gets great reviews, I can't believe I haven't heard of it before.

I can't wait to get a Sparrow or Spectre can and be Hollywood quiet. :awesome:

Anyone have one? I report back after I get it and throw some lead down range.

Ive had one for a while now and LOVE it. Only thing that needed work is that the stock makes getting a good cheek weld a little difficult, so I used a camping pad and some gorrila tape to build up a proper cheek rest, then I de greased everything external and gave it a once over with Krylon Od Green and sponged on Tan and gray paint on top it goes great with the dead grass and hay here in Ky. I cant make up my mind if I want to shell out for a suppressor from YHM or submit another Form 1 and build my own..... either way its a bit of a wait.

I dunked a bitch's head in a bucket of ice water one time when she was OD-ing on Xanax. Worked great, but there was a LOT of paperwork afterward.

Yeah, the stock is total shit, absolutely wrong for that gun. From what I am gathering on the forums, the thing to do is to replace it with a Boyds Tacticool stock with a real comb on it for a cheek weld, and top if off with the Meuller APV scope.
