He seems to be making some pretty big claims about his background-cutting edge military technology and making top of the line guns and such-haven't seen too much of that so far. I kind of wonder how much of an expert he really is-the suppressed shotgun has been done so it's far from a new idea (true, the big companies have not mass produced anything, but I have personally seen more than one), an AR/M4 is not a machine gun, and the 'Master Key' he seems to be claiming as his own has been around since the '80's...more genius to come, I'm sure

Well he did say that the idea/item has been around for a while, but so far nothing is ground breaking on the show.

Best wishes for success to Will at Red Jacket with his new show, but I think everyone needs to realize that he has no control over how the show is edited, or how he presents what he does is edited and produced.

It may NOT be Will's decision at all to say thing in a way that more 15-year-old Airsofters find totally bitchin and most knowledgeable gun enthusiasts might find either "meh" or even completely stupid.

"Teenage gooftards" is likely a FAR larger viewing demographic than intelligent firearms enthusiasts.

Cutting edge? No. Mildly entertaining? Ish. Not sure I'm gonna keep watching; I'll have to see a few more episodes. The dude that wanted that suppressed shotgun was a lousy shot.

Very true I mean look at how Dual Survivor was shot vs how they both really are in reality.

The man made a 6.5 Grendel AK, what's not to love? Well, it's not a 6.8 for one

I didn't see the show, so I don't know how it came across. Red Jacket does some high end stuff though, for certain.

Say what you will about the show and his ideas, I haven't seen it yet, but he does make top of the line guns. The price is the only negative thing I've ever heard about any of his products.

I enjoyed it, he did point out that the "master key" has been around for a long time And he said many people have done the surpressed shotgun but that they havn't gotten it down to the sound level it needed to be at

RedJacket are a good bunch and they do top notch work. That is why I send my PSL over to them for a carbine conversion. I just hope I do not tune into a future episode with them showing an employee butching my gun

in the commercial he claims to make unique and special weapons for the military and police... what do they show? a saiga super glued to a AR.

im sure an AK based weapon will be a HOT item to the US military and Police market....

no thanks, so long as richard machowicz is still on the air, theres enough crappy shows about guns.

On that note.....do you think Mac's douchey persona and "tactical whisper" was all his idea, or maybe some sniveling producer that has never fired anything more than a folded piece of paper out of a rubber band made a decision in a production meeting where Mac may or may not have had just a whole ton of development input?

What I'm saying is that if the show sucks and Red Jacket comes off as a bunch of gun-butchering redneck idiots to the firearms enthusiast crowd, their product is historically very solid, their reputation is sound, and any douchery need not tarnish the brand for his much MUCH MUCH smaller group of actual purchasing clientele.

We all gotta catch our opportunities when they strike us and maybe suffer a few consequences.

Discharging a grenade launcher within city limits... Wish I could get away with that. Sure it wasn't a real grenade, but still... What state are they in?

i guess some people don't pay attention to to bright yellow "grenade" he pulled out of a 37mm flare box, is it against the law to set off a flare in baton rouge la, i don't know, i'm sure it's as legal as setting off fireworks

Saw it - won't waste my time on any more episodes. The guy is totally full of himself (which is fine) - better things to do. Production quality is not very high.

I didn't see the show. But I do have examples of his work. Top notch.

And I assure you I'm more concerned about the actual products than the entertainment value of the show.

You guys do know it's just for entertainment, right?

Judge the show for that, look at his work first hand and judge his skill.
