hello....again

Postby ali_marea » Tue Jun 19, 2012 9:28 am

Hello! I've been on and off the ZS boards for several years. Have even PMed a few folks over that time. But at this point it is doubtful that anyone remembers me.

I think I was last online when the Japan tsunami hit. I remember making a donation then, and I have a nice little dog-tag at home to remember that.

Anyway, I'm into zombies, into preparing, not into being crazy, so ZS is one of my favorite online haunts.

Hope to get back into the swing of things here.

Oh, I'm in Northern Virginia. 35, female, married with 2 kids. Techno-geek who now works as a technical writer.

Any questions, feel free to ask. :)

Thanks!

A technical writer is one who writes documentation (usually of the technical sort...IT type documentation, user manuals, user guides, etc.) and edits technical documentation. I also work with developers to get user manuals etc. edited and written.

Sounds a lot less exciting when I write it out. It's basically the job I've been wanting to do for 15 years. Up until this job I've been doing documentation the whole time, but have also been an IT professional. Not really where I want to be. I'm much happier now. :)

Just a little ;) I don't do it on forums, though. That's just annoying. *grin*
