Howdy from Houston, and no, we don’t have a problem…I think

Postby GreasyGrits » Sat Jul 14, 2012 11:00 am

Hi all,

I’m new to the group but not preparedness…I grew up in Florida and saw my fair share of storms which instilled a preparedness spirit in me at an early age. Now I’m in Houston (Mo. City to be more exact) and like many of you an Ike vet which we helped several of our neighbors through.

Anyway, I’m a kindred spirit to the group’s mission and want to learn more. I was absolutely humbled when I stumbled across Paragon’s STOMP II Medical Pack thread (viewtopic.php?f=43&t=33826)…essentially an emergency room in a backpack, wow!

I’m looking for the secret handshake to get into the ZCS:014 forum so I can learn more about the local chapter and events, can anyone assist with this?

Thanks,
Brett (GreasyGrits)

Hello. Welcome aboard. Glad you like it here. This place seems to be an eternal fountain of knowledge and entertainment.

To get into the local board, try clicking on User Control Panel in the upper left corner. Then select User Groups. That should show a list of sub forums, and simply select the ones you want in to. I think that's how I found my way into my local board.

Again, welcome aboard.

No real problems yet but it seems kinda weird hoping the rain will stop after what we went through last year.
