Re: Water shut-off

there isn't a valve for the outbound stuff... Actually there is, its called a back flow preventer. At the last company conference (I am a municipal design engineer), we had a presentation by a company that installs them. I didnt get any prices but I dont imagine it would be cheap or convinient to r...

"in fact the colder the water is in the tank..the more efficient it would be at pulling heat out of the heater core bypass.." Heat will move more readily to the water from the heater core the colder the water is, but it's just going to need more energy to reheat the coolant... You could just end up ...

200 gallons is roughly .7 cubic meters of water.. lets say half of it is ice... .35 cubic meters of ice weights about 350kg... latent heat of fusion 335Kj/kg.. 117250 kJ of energy to just melt that ice.. now to bring the water from its 32 degree state to say 40 degrees to keep it un frozen is going ...

Id download a reloading manual to get all the basics down before asking questions in the forum. Otherwise you'll be attacked with "USE THE SEARCH/GOOGLE" replies.. and really you probably should have just searched reloading in google anyway.

I'll agree with Tilt... sounds like the new winter blend is gelling worse or they haven't added enough additives for the new bio blend. The restricted to 20 mph leads me to think that it's a lack of fuel problem and if the bio blend is becoming more viscous and slowing down in the filter it could be...

I was listening too intently but I heard ".. he grows all his own food and he burns trees on his land for firewood. He plants new ones too!! He's some crazy survivali...

Well Diesel oil has a MUCH higher detergent rating than regular car motor oil..you can't use diesel in gasoline engines because it has a tendency to clean the rings too good, thus allowing blowby and low compression you can't use diesel in a gas engine because it won't burn effectively. Average com...

How about the deep freezer for the deer you killed the week before and haven't managed to eat it all, or failing that where do you put enough salt for the deer and then room for the meat.
