Re: Far Cry 3 anyone....

But since I have never tried the series I have nothing to compare it to. In a nutshell: #1 had stunning graphics, a good story and very good gameplay. The AI was terrifyingly good at getting you in queue for the next respawn. Limited saves depending on difficulty level added up to that. Add in the ...

Re: DHS uses ZS prepping theory

Funny, I saw this story as well. On the one hand, you can kind of say that the gov't is ripping ZS idea(and if they aren't actually knowingly doing that, the similarities are uncanny). I don't know if thats a bad thing, if it gets people to prepare, then it's helping ZS fulfill its intended purpose....

you are getting A LOT of false information here. The one gentleman from Conneticut sugested not hunting with a longbow as you will be more likely to injur an animal and that is COMPLETELY FALSE and he is showing his lack of knowledge by posting that. I'm not going to start a pissing contest here, b...

ZS Featured on the Survival Podcast, again

Jack Spirko, who was active on ZS early in his development of the Survival Podcast has mentioned us again in episode 904 at the 1:28 mark. The context was in regards to the rebuilding America post economic collapse, and we were the ONLY organization mentioned in this regard. Link below for non-subsc...

Armor Plate group buy?

I have to ask, even if it derails the thread, what and why of owning ballistic plates? I've thought about it, and they're cool and all, but I've been trying to come up with a justifiable and reasonable scenario where I might actually put them to good use, and the parameters (for me, at least) seem ...

Sunglasses as Part of Standard Equipment?

Yeah, I rock aviators, I dunno about safety ones though. Anything helps, they should be good for glass fragments in a car wreck and the like.

Several must read SCi-fi based Apocalyptic novels

The Stand, book and miniseries, are amazing. If you like tat try it's epic sister-series, The Dark Tower. It appears to be post-The Stand, and definitely ties in the universe of all his other wirks(which are in a world similar to our own, but not quite the same) Misspellings courtesy of iPhone, so s...

Compound Bow

My personal thought, shared by many others in my travels has been to steer clear of mechanicals. For the leeeetle bit of speed and accuracy you might gain, you risk non deployment wounding an animal and leaving your freezer empty. I have 100 gr crimson talon xt's, can be found cheap because you aren...

Re: ZS collaborative folding blade recommendation thread

So are we talking about trying to get ZS branded folders for purchase? I don't have a specific recommendation, but I can say lets try and keep it under 4", as there are a number of states where carrying a blade longer than that is a crime.

Re: Gear Storage - Looking for ideas

I live in a very small appt, but that hasn't stopped me from buying about a dozen of these shelves, which really help with storage when space is limited. $49.99 for one $44.98 for *TWO*, I'd have gear everywhere without them. * http://i.walmartimages.com/i/p/00/02/40/99/09/0002409909505_150X150.jpg ...

Discovery has a long and candid history of treating the talent on their reality shows like shit. I wonder if that has something to do with what happened here.

Really like the Mission bows. Just got me a new UX2. Can't wait to stick a pig with it. However, several of the major posters on M4C are also on other forums and have given me shit and tried to get me banned because I'm an atheist. One of the many reasons I like ZS: You guys and the staff don't suck. I'm going through this on Northeast Shooters as we speak. It's nice to just keep reli...

Re: Magazines; To Load or Not?

If they are searching your house for some reason they are not looking to clear your name; but evidence to back up a theory. I'm aware of this, which is why I store things the way I currently do, but I do think there's some potential to make more implications if someone has 14 loaded mags vs. 14 mag...

Re: Magazines; To Load or Not?

Aside from the magazine durability issue, what does everyone think of potential legal issues? I don't do anything illegal(and am giving the benefit of the doubt that no one else does either) but one way or another(suspicious neighbors, angry exes, whatever) anyone could possibly be subject of a sear...

Mighty Car Mods : How To Zombie Proof Your Car

Feel free to criticize, as I think this is far from perfect. I'll start by suggesting using black spray on truck bed liner(can be found at Home Depot)instead of just black paint. It's very flat, forgiving for novice painters, and the texture on it is pretty awesome. The HD stuff also doesn't go on a...
