I question whether the incidence of violent crime, in and of itself, is indicative of civil war.
Civil war, by definition, is a violent crime against the state.

Re: National Geographic makes it easy to print any USGS Topo map.

Mine did not require a pop up in windows 10 and chrome browser. Just a new tab. But I have a .pdf extension that opens .pdf's in a browser window. What a cool thing. This is important enough for me to spend money on a new printer that will print in color. My stupid Canon printer has never printed c...

I must be doing it wrong... I went to the NatGeo site and tried to get a printable quad of the area around the property I'm buying in Idaho. Never did figure out how to get the PDF to open. :ohdear: You're kidding ? You with all your puter savy and ignorant ole me popped them open first time? :shoc...

It would appear that folks blowing each other up produces statistics. These numbers are tracked by our Friends at the ATF, via a website, they share some of that data publicly. Or even a moose burglar with ill intent You should talk to my wife then. While an undergraduate at the University of Alaska in Anchorage she had a moose try to break into the trailer she was living in. Her brother had to come from his house and run it off. The same moose later followed her when she...

I just cry a little when shooting good, expensive ammo.
If you don't practice with it then you're just going to waste it when you do use it.

Now try the other ammo with the new grips on the gun. I have a feeling that your grips may have played a bigger role in the right shift than the ammo did. I say this because one of my pistols was consistently hitting low-left for me and I saw that what was happening was the gun was being pushed down...

I personally do not even own an AR. It's not that I have a argument against them. It's just logistics and an awareness of probable use. My self loading rifles run more to WW2 era weapons. This is what I have stocked ammo and accessories for. If I were to now purchase a AR. I would have to buy , the...

Just a word of caution to know the laws concerning picks in the places you travel. Some communities, NYC for example, require a license to have them.

That being said, wiper inserts make some great tools for locksport.

It's important when reading "facts" like those in the article on the Prepared Gun Owners site to understand they are cherry-picked to support what the conclusion of the article will be and to carefully examine the actual data presented. For example, the pistol calibers that are talked about are bein...

First, understand that magazines should be considered as expendables. They don't last forever and you'll probably be just dropping them and reloading if stuff goes sideways on you. That being said, I've got a slew of the BX-25 mags for my 10/22 and have not had any issues with them except for sore f...

Re: Casio cell phones

Thanks guys for all the info. I never did get my hands on a Casio phone but after the Sonim died it was replaced with a AGM X1, which has held up for nearly 3 years and is still the perfect phone for me: 5400mAh battery, 1080 gorilla screen and a octacore cpu at a reasonable price. Oh and it's bomb...
