Re: Takaaco's small 12in GHB

I should have mentioned the reason there is no paracord in the bag, is because its around my waist, in the form of my homemade paracord belt.

Re: Takaaco's small 12in GHB

Nice little kit. Thanks for sharing. And a little button compass. I'd make getting a real poncho a priority. Can you suggest a button compass that's worth a dam? And this bag is pretty small, I'm not sure I could get a real poncho in there. This one's proven...put it through a lot at work and stays...

First off, In Iraq, civilians knew not to get in the middle of a military convoy, and if they forgot you rammed them out of the way to help them remember. In the US thats not the way its going to hap...

Re: Is there a way to stretch out my canteen cover?

this works for boots not sure about canteen covers. put some water in a ziploc bag and squeeze out all the air, and put it in the pouch and stick it in the freezer overnight.

Re: Ideas for Tube Vaults from CountyComm

I ordered the 30 pack of 5inch ones from amazon to make some fishing kits to sale, but you're right they are smaller than I thought. You can actually fit twice as much stuff in an Altoids tin. So now I am selling them all labeled as geocaching containers...lol

AAA headlamp (energizer from Walmart). I have a larger headlamp that takes 2 18650's but I use that one for caving, its a little big for this little bag.
