Re: Bump In The Night Bag
Try to get Nything out of a shoulder bag while moving sucks. I used to hunt with a possibles bag but switched to a turkey vest for that reason. I use a shotgun for a hd situation so i have no more real input here i do however second docs suggestion on a police duty belt. Theyare extremely convienien...

Re: A listing of a hunting, gathering, and trapping kit
Cool concept, however as a hunter, trapper, and outdoorsman i see a few problems. An airgun for hunting works ok...even the high powered 22cal airguns really are only lethal at 20yds. I am not saying ditch it but be aware, that if you trap a coyote or something larger you Are up excrement creek, or e...

Re: The .22 Caliber Myth
While the 22 is a piss-ant round I wouldnt want to get hit with it. Saying that very very far from a defensive round. It is a great small game round, and can be pressed into service to put down a deer. In fact ive put down deer for a sheriff who didnt want to do paperwork on firing his weapon on a c...

Re: ccw insurance (liability) - questions if you have one
I used to sell accident and disability insurance for a local company and some wordage to avoid under the exculusions of the policy are: act of war declared or undeclared- what that means is the policy will not cover shootings ,stabbings, explosions, rape, torture, and many many other situations. Run...

Re: How to handle an encounter Leo's while OC??
OC is for George Zimmermans. If you want to show your gun off on your hip, then go through the police academy. If you practice, you can draw just as fast in your shorts as you can outside. There's really no excuse to OC. Just my opinion. So, the faster draw, increased "I am not a victim" aura, and ...

that was my thought itd be hard to ! find a mount, and the savage dosnt have a lot of meat on the barrel. Hmmm, I don't know.....That stock Ruger 10/22 barrel isn't thick by any means. But it had enough "meat" for me to drill-&-tap. It may well work out i dont have the same gun anymore so i cant me...

vibration can make the pins in a lock move and relase accidentally, I read somewhere abouth a safe that could be opened with a concrete vibrator [its a tool not a sex toy]. But have never heard about one this simple, howefully gunvault can rectify that for you. I would suggest videoing it and sendin...

It is also important that you know the laws of your municipality not just the state, for instance my town dosnt allow you to carry a gun within so many feet of the mayors office. Heres a tip from being pulled over many many times, DON'T be a dick to the police! They poor cat is just doing there job....

Cimarron's good stuff, and those conversions do look pretty sweet. The Rugers are a little more practical, but that's certainly not the only thing that matters. :) well my wife has some good stuff and she looks pretty sweet too...shes not very practical at times..hmmmm may i should trade her lol......

Not really sure if I'd call that a WTF rifle. The civvie version I would, as in wtf good is it having this highly enginered full auto recoil reducing bolt on a semi auto? Its heavy, ugly, and nuetered like the 60 year old new divorcee sitting at the end of the bar trying to buy the hot chicks drink...

Yeah im a very new shooter... I am having a bit of newbies anxiety... GOOD! that anxiety should keep you from buying something dumb just because its cool, You need to sit down and make a list of what you NEED your gun to do, in my mind at the top of the list is: LEARN TO SHOOT ACCURATELY. will you ...

Re: Help me figure out: is my head on straight or up my a$$
if there on a well all you would need is either pipe and a manual pump or a inverter to run the ac pump from a dc car battery. If your reeally commited either buy the manual pump and some pvc, this takes some knowlege of how deep the well is and what the head of pump would be needed to get the pump ...
