Re: Choosing a Combat Pistol in Canada

I vote Glock 21sf and get your self a 10mm conversion setup for when you go out in the woods! 2 guns in 1!!! My second vote would be a 1911 but cost would become a greater factor depending on your taste... Id take a $500 glock over a $500 1911(not that there isnt ok $500 1911's) :? I thought you ha...

Re: Trijicon on Glocks?

I want the HD's, I have a regular (No clue on model) trijicon front sight on my Glock 20 and the white paint that surrounds the lamp sucks. A standard glock sight is easier to see in daylight, but in darkness and low light it shines quite bright. Overall I like it, but really want the HD's. If your'...

Re: Best Round/ Gun for Ursus Arctos Horribilis

Haven't fought any bears, but I'd take a good hard look at the Glock 20. 10mm shooting a hot 200gr hard-cast projectile is what I would choose. http://www.buffalobore.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=219 Glock 20L for maximum effectiveness and style points 8-) http://www.bren-ten.com/sitebuildercon...

Re: Your review? Blackhawk drop leg/thigh SERPA 2 holster

Put it in backwards?? is that even possible? I just pulled my SERPA and G26 out and tried to put it in the holster in various positions where it would fit "easily" and It never gets close to any of the mechanical bits for the finger release. Without looking I gently inserted the pistol backwards ju...

Re: Your review? Blackhawk drop leg/thigh SERPA 2 holster

I own a serpa. I was taking my pistol and holster off my hip one night and decided to un-holster the weapon before removing the holster as it can be a bit difficult when only using the paddle attachment. After I had them both removed I went to re-holster the weapon off my person and put it on a desk...

Yes you can go 10mm to .40 with a barrel swap and retain the same magazines. Not .40 to 10mm though as I understand.

I also would recommend a Glock 20 10MM. Mine has a aftermarket slide and barrel with what's marketed as maximum chamber support. I love it.

Re: New Gun :)

Nice, that is a very under rated pistol. I very much agree with this sentiment, in the US at least. Too bad my local gun store agrees too and is charging 699$ with irons on them  Even happier with the $399 + tax now!!!!!! This seems to be the going rate, I really don't know what they're snort...

Re: Recoil?!

My Glock 20 is more scratchy then anything, after about 100 rounds or more certain parts of my hands will bleed. I could not imagine my glock with a stippled frame, I guess I just have really dry hands or something.

Re: What have you bought in the last 48 hours?(firearms rela

There's a private security company in the area that issues Hi-Point .45's. Seriously. It could be worse than an outdated Glock. Oh, also bought 100 rounds of birdshot, 30 rounds 00 buckshot at Walmart. Holding off on buying anything else until the VA decides to start paying me. Sent from my Nexus O...

Re: Stealth Weapon?

You have to get through an area sprinkled with the undead. You have to collect things to continue to survive. Also, you may have to take out a few dead heads along the way. What weapon do you use to keep the walkers from paying attention to you while you take out some of their buddies? MINE! The Co...
