Re: X95 Zombie Rifle!

I rented that same setup at my Range last week, really nice gun and very good optic. It's probably next on the wish list.

Re: Free time and spare parts =???

OTOH, the ATF has already started saying that they CAN regulate HOW you use a Sig-Braced firearm (the underlined portion). http://www.shootingsportsretailer.com/2014/11/19/could-this-mean-the-end-of-the-sig-brace/ That letter's talking about a shotgun contraption, but their determination on regulat...

Re: What Did You Do Today To Prepare?

A Winn Dixie store down the street from me is closing in 2 weeks. They've been discounting everything in the store, increasing the percentage savings each week. Yesterday it was down to 40% off can and box goods, 25% off frozen. I picked up maybe a months worth of canned food , and OTC medicines. W...

Re: What info to put on an aluminum survival card?

That sounds pretty cool man. I don't really know of any formulas to add or fun facts. I would most likely want something about wild edibles or natural medicinal plants. I guess that would be pretty difficult to put into text format for a business card. I like the cards they include with the ESEE kni...

Ok awesome! Thanks for getting this going again. I have already cast my vote. Some stickers would be cool too, but I'm happy with a few patches.

I didn't see them in the store. Did I miss the pre sale or have they not been put into the store yet?

Re: New BOV Jackson Kayak Cuda 12

I'm really liking that kayak. Does it hold everything you need? I am assuming it's for fishing and recreation? Sorry for the delayed response, I'm overseas and only have internet access on my days off. It really is a great little boat, it tracks well and will hold a ton of gear. The weekend after I...

Re: BOB philosophy revisited

The best way to wake someone up is to go camping with them. Have them haul their 75 pounds of horse crap over 10 miles (or 2 miles, most likely) of difficult terrain and they will make the needed changes gleefully! Or you will find out your friend is a total beast of a human and has no problem with...

Re: Wash day: Making my own laundry soap. *Picture Heavy*

I made a batch of soap this weekend. I should have read the entire thread first then I would have learned to not add the oxy clean until the clothes are in the washer. Not thinking things through I added the oxy clean and left the bucket to set over night. When I opened it the next morning I had abo...

Re: What Did You Do Today To Prepare?

Went through the ammo storage closet and changed out some silica packs that are in the ammo cans. Once the ones I took out finish dying in the oven I'll seal them with the food saver so they are ready to go next time.

It was too pretty outside today to get much done in the house.

I really like the arrow rest and fishing setup that chief AJ is selling on his website. I'm not paying almost $200 for a sling shot though.
