Re: Mini Maglite
My last minimag was stolen, and my replacement was a Garrity LED light. Its a very good light, but I have been thinking of picking up a couple minimags and a nite eyes conversion, as well as a krypton bulb and some good batteries. maybe I will do that tonite and put up my results. I always did like ...

From what I remember, the coil packs on 3800's loved to corrode at the post where you're plug wires go. There are 3 coil packs, each run 2 plugs. I can't remember if 3 and 6 share the same coil off the top of my head right now. A bad coil pack might be you're problem, but changing the plugs never h...

Thats awesome you paid those vultures off. Try to double up on the house payment and make sure the extra cash goes to the principle. I guess I can forgive you for not having any further progress pics :D . I have to live vicariously through you guys and your project cars and trucks for a while. The w...

Re: 'The four things you need.'
Pretty much sums it up in my opinion.
While everyone is in a bit of a different finacial boat, we all need to make sure we can weather what looks to be a nasty storm.
Get as prepared as you can and try to get as debt free as possible.

Re: Threads on how to save Money on living expenses?
Lots of good advice here. Dont eat out or splurg on anything. Dave Ramsey's baby steps are the same as every other economics advice self help books and seminars. Dont fall into credit card debt and pay your stuff off by doubling up your payments. Live cheap and put money away for later in life

You guys stay safe and keep your eyes open. I dont think the protestors are going to care if you work in a bank or just a comercial business. If they see someone in office dress they are liable to come your way. Fromt eh way it sounds anyway. I hope Im wrong

Nice pistol. I read the same stuff about .40 being snappy and all that. I love my .40 S&W. I would be real hard pressed to go to a smaller caliber.

AK pistols are really fun toys, but they are really just that. A toy. Accuarcy is not too good, and as a carry gun they are heavy and bulky. We hear this same shit for every gun post around here. These forums are a big fucking joke. dont like it, leave. if you think an AK pistol is a practica...

Holy smokes, ZOMBIE THREAD :D Your local boating store has some good fuel storage additives as well. I cant remember the name off the top of my head but the lady I have delt with for years claims people swear by the stuff. Its about time to rotate some fuel here too. I think I'll check the new stuff...

Re: "Resistance to flu drug widespread in U.S." - Yahoo Story
Nothing to worry, get your flu shot and you will be most likely fine. I never would take Tamiflu as it does have some noteworthy side effects. That's OK so long as the shot has the vaccine for the flu strain that is trying to penetrate your body's defenses. Actually handwashing and good hygiene pro...

Re: Heating a home with renewable energy.
First things first. More than anything you have to ensure outside air is not infiltrating your house. Reinsulate your walls and attic. Then make sure their are no open holes on the outside of the house (for sevice lines, a/c etc) allowing air in. Now, and this is much more involved and only tackled ...

I feel your pain. We are expecting up to 15 inches of snow by sunday nite. I sure am glad i start my vacation friday afternoon. Give me a chance to dig out us and the neighbors. Kinda looking forward to it though, as long as no one gets killed on the freeways. Gets me a chance to fire up the winter ...
