I am real close to eating a bag of tidepods after reading that :vmad: :vmad: :vmad:  im a millenial so it's ok to go out that way. Or I might just buy it to make a video of me burning it or shoot it when I buy a new gun. I had to post that article on the Full30 forums though https://forum.ful...

At the threat of thread drift, this almost needs it's own topic with today's "cancel culture". True , I'm not trying to get too political here though and its hard to talk about that stuff w...

Re: Shooting what fits you vs commonality of parts & mags?

I voted option A. As long as it is reliable, buy what is comfortable and you are more likely to practice with. That will probably be the best option 99% of the time. Buying an extra gun for parts will only make that option more attractive. However, if we are preparing for zombie PAW, my choice chan...

Shooting what fits you vs commonality of parts & mags?

Ive been thinking on this a lot lately after being forced to sell my guns to keep up with bills. Most modern pistols will go 5-10k with little maintenance , meaning buying a spare and stocking spare parts should last you many many years. Does parts availability or commonality really matter? I mean i...

I am an Oregonian , ive been seeing this stuff worsen. I live in a conservative rural area in the NE region and we have had rioters show up around here attempting to get stuff started but the push back chased them off. I hear they are at the next town over...no idea whats happening over there yet bu...

Cops getting attacked, hate crimes left and right, robberies threw the roof, murder rate up(from 10 in the last few years to just under 10 this year) ... Its not a real great time for my area. Locally we have had none of these things so far that were out of the ordinary. There was an internet cult ...

Re: Will Prepping Get a Second Wind in 2020?

I think it will flow... Then ebb.... Then flow... Elections are always scary for half the population. I dunno if it will hit the "hey day" of Doomsday preppers and Walking Dead popularity of the 2010's... But I bet there will be some small spikes of interest. It will there is a cycle, just as an ex...

Re: Bow vs air rifle for shtf/prepping?

Small game like rabbits and squirrels in your back yard I'd go with an air rifle. You can get really affordable ones these days that are powerful enough for small game. For larger game a bow is the better choice. Yes, you can drop a grand on an air gun that'll take a deer or wild pig, but without e...

I'd like to learn more about how the Vikings fought since I've been watching a lot of the "Vikings" TV series on History Channel. I'm pretty sure they're taking some liberties with the fighting on the show, but it still looks neat and I'm a big fan of Viking history. Also, I've been interested in h...

Or this? http://www.kultofathena.com/product.asp?item=500920&name=Scottish+Cutlass I still think the broadsword and targe are a symbol of the Highlanders. Same with the Dirk. The hanger was used by prize fighters too, the stage-gladiators even dual wielded them. The Scottish were pretty big into th...

What HEMA arts are you interested in? I think you're overestimating how much I've planned. Re: Deepeka Baskethilt

Been looking at a Scottish Basket hilt Backsword or Broadsword. It's more of a Renfair decoration, but if I buy something, it's going to be functional. I've been big into genealogy lately, and have obtained a kilt in family tartan, as well as a beautiful Devil's Edge Sgain Dubh, and Dirk in Damascu...
